CQBL056 | BURIAL HEX | ESCHATOLOGY III | C60

"Eschatology III" is the third installment of the "Precession of Nightfall" cycle which will eventually culminate in the "Nightfall" divination kit and cassette boxset. A four-part cycle which presents eight unique 30 minute compositions each depicting a new hallucinatory concept of ritual precession as a means to further explore the divinations of Mother Midnight; also known as The Reading of Readings, The Oracles of The Oracle, and/or The Visions of The Void. The latest installment brings us the heat of the Summer in the form of a five movement suite on the fifth side. These pieces are each lyrical manifestos sung, whispered or growled over a myriad of expressive industrial maneuvers and strung together with a motif of murky sediment. The sixth side offers an extended remix of the 12" "Hunger", much in the same way Burial Hex recast his own "Book of Delusions" and "The Tower" on the previous two installments of the Nightfall series, respectively. This St Atta's Day Remix doubles the original in length, drowning and discoloring the work until nothing but a labyrinthine miasma of subconcious techno remain. World without end, Amen.

CQBL055 | VICTOR PORTSMOUTH | BEYOND DUTY & SYMPTAHY | C35

Gorgeous new industrial odyssey from Samantha Glass mainman Beau Devereaux. Victor Portsmouth is an obsessive, power savvy work of historical fiction. Doom and disciple are the new holy order of his day. Six stately compositions of faded memorials from the perspectives of the ghosts who serve there. Imagine mixing the morbid numbness of a Marco Corbelli project with the automatic psychedelia of Maurizio Bianchi, all pumped up and penned with the iron blood of the gutted poet Mishima. A difficult series of contemplations will occur when indulging this work.

CQBL057 | BLACK LIGHT | NIGHT FOR DAY | C35

Crucial graveyard neofolk from the Old Northwest. This trio is absolutely captivating, with their eccentric male and female vocals and spare instrumentation. Building on the momentum of their impressive debut album, Black Light has grown even more world-weary and road worn. Their sound is that of singing up straight up into the night sky. We are so proud to have released both of their amazing albums. Black Light is a triumph for the new wave of luddite folk idyll, and it only takes one listen to their magnificent song "Eternal Forest" for one to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and light the fires!

CQBL054 | SANSIT ARISO | SANSIT ARISO | C30

Like the sun slowly rising over the rolling vineyards of Lower Franconia, Sansit Ariso unfolds in a bright hush. The muffle of molested cassette tape and otherwise perverse conditions quickly twist the elementals from playful to menacing and back again. Antler and accordion bonfire rituals sound rendered as ancient radio dramas and broadcast in the den of a cheap brothel. Hypnotic and impressionistic ballads of quixotic lust and devotion. Cover oils by Christian Schoppik of Kirschstein, Agnes Biel, et al. All other information absent, except the return address of Rimpar.

CQBL053 | NAVE | NAVE | C60

Under the shadows of the Cinderella Castle, in Orange County, Southern California, lie the unlikely origins of this densely nuanced post-industrial gem. Culling from the archives of sold-out releases and some unreleased exclusive material, this portrait of Nave oozes a fearless pursuit of musical freedom. Coming as much from the Nový Svět / Ô Paradis continuum of romantic absurdity as they do from the Älgarnas Trädgård or Cromagnon era of proto-prog moves and maniacal psychedelic excess. This compilation is a mystifying adventure, with eclectic offerings from 2004 - 2014, each track is gracefully knit into an overall narrative soundscape, making the drastic dynamics and terrific expanse of unique sonic architecture all the more disorienting and extraordinary.
