It's official. Reality is disappearing up it's own arse.

http://uk.reuters.com/article/2015/08/20/uk-northkorea-southkorea-border-idUKKCN0QP0PC20150820 - the typical Laibach butterfly effect, I hope they are proud of themselves!

Bunch of pointless freaks who have too much time to waste.
Laibach rules and I totally support their North Korean gigs.

is that frank/MILITIA?  he's been on a fucking tear about this for months, selling off all his laibach merch and donating the money to anti-fascist groups, etc..  last i knew he sold precisely zero of his merchandise.

I caught a bit on CNN about the performance. It mentioned that the gov. didn't allow some of the songs & backing video.

John Oliver is awful.

I thought it was a great piece of subtle trolling by Laibach if anything... then I've never been one who believed in the "no platform" type ideologies either so I'm not going to sell the little Laibach shit I own....

...John Oliver is alright but I'm a Brit....

Did anyone here get the Laibach 'Revisited' box?? Very tempting indeed, but just wondering what the "revisitations" are like. Would hate to discover the originals have been somehow 'ruined'.

Yes, I have it, the vinyl version. The release is great. Revisited album - you can hear now these versions on youtube / spotify etc. In the box there is also original version of debut album and amazing live 'Underground' - recorded in 2012 in Velenje Coal Mines. I love this, very primitive oldschool material.

In the end I, too, forked out for the vinyl version. Of course, it's the old stuff is still great, and I also like what was recorded 'Underground' very much, but I was sort of 50/50 about the revisited material. Some is good, but other parts seem too 'slick' and polished. Maybe too over-produced, or just plainly too 'modern'!! But the book is nice. Of course, it was expensive, and if I could have got the VoD box at the time, I think it might have been better value.
