I thought I would find some info on Mandatory publication here but that was not the case, so here we go...
if it hadn't been for the recommendation from Mikko, I would have missed out on this one. Now I finally got my copy from Posh Isolation and I was overwhelmed when I opened the package.
One of the most professional magazines I've seen in recent years dealing with all kinds of paraphilia and perversion (but in "arty" and thought-over way). I am very glad to see the danish porno culture rising from its grave!
Content includes Miss Ass Snatch, Sacha Maric, Niki Kunt, Mark McCoy, Mikko Aspa, Black Guido and several others. Extremely professional print and oversized format. Absolutely nothing to complain about here. I really hope they will manage to publish this on regular basis. Get it!

Thanx for the share. Will check it out.

I have finally some copies for sale too. It's oversized, doesn't fit in envelope. Postage rates are like LP's (= horrid). Site itself doesn't give much info, and I didn't even find much of other sites showing images or information about it.

I think there are still possibilities to improve, but being debut issue of sleezy cultural magazine, it's very very good start. Looks proper magazine, not "fanzine".

Looking over the minimal site & facebook, it doesn't look like anything interesting at all. Miss Ass Snatch? Maybe someone could scan & post some images?

Mandatory #1: New MissAsssnatch Interview, June, 2012

some of the content is i.m.o. "hipster arty", but then there is plenty of content that compensates this. excellent interview with mikko (as well as plenty of photos), some good collage artworks from posh isolation crew, interesting articles / interviews. feels like some photos are just fillers, and I think they could have done something more useful instead.
nevertheless, I consider it a very good first issue and look forwards to reading it in the future.
they could make better promotion for the magazine instead of cryptic video and some facebook page - you are right - it says nothing about the product itself (especially when its rather expensive with postage etc), but I believe you won't be disappointed....

Does anyone know if this is available in any US distros? I like to avoid Euro shipping charges when possible.

If someone didn't know, MANDATORY has now also blog. Includes short interviews, artworks, photos, etc.
Few unpublished images of longer series (that's unpublished apart of one image used by Belgian band MYSELF). Includes some texts I wrote in e-mail to Mandatory, originally not meant to be published so excuse the casual writing style, hah!

Thanx for the share. Short, informative and fun. Good photos. Laughed out loud when I read the title on the T-SHIRT. Classic. BTW, did you spray the Metallica tag in the background?

FreakAnimalFinland

Those tags are done by someone else. Old style "graffiti" before the hip hop culture took it all. I remember in my old city, every place had big HELLOWEEN logos. Some were done with stencils, some big free hand sprainpaint works. I'd like to see more speed & thrash metal logos on concrete tunnels than just messy tags..

Ok. Can remember the same from my early days in the fishing village in northern Norway. Metal ruled. Actually, we where so far north that hip-hop didn't have any impact until the late '80s. Periphery has its upsides as well!

I don't know where they found J. Kart/Strict, but that guy's work is great, and his photos/videos fit perfectly. I also like the Aspa photos but I would buy it for that one alone.

He's quite active in YouTube. Started to upload one picture videos of Strict years ago and later started to include various tracks and mix them with videos from the streets. Prostitution, trannies, cheap high. Quite cool videos, nothing too explicit though...
