Don't know about that... SCP is mentioned as part of another article at the website however:

Apraxia
An interview with Patrick Barber, the man behind the label. Covers the output of this legendary label who released Blowhole, Prick Decay, Small Cruel Party and others in the early 90's.

Rather than see a Interview with anyone in special, i would like to point the fact that the interviews have become less deep, away from the ones on the first issue. I praised the first number cause a lot of the interviews were not only limited to the musical circle, but rather the interpretations of the artist itself on todays phenomena (e.g. pornography, politics, social behaviour) but now in number 3 most of the interviews are standard (not the art of analog tape int., but the artists) and limited to "Who are you?, what do you do? what do you released? what will you release?", and that is kinda bad, specially for the bunch of zines out there that limits on that. I believe SI can become a real standard for the culture journalism, and a portal to really understand the artist and not just to praise what he has done.

Kenji Siratori

Beast 666 Tapes

yes and yes!!!
(beast 666 are interesting, an interview would be nice... one of the weird things they've done, is: on their website they have free downloads of obscure video clips and recordings of Traci Lords. that is a strange thing to do!)
(and kenji siratori: he obvously would be a great interview.)

I tried to get a Beast 666 interview for my 'zine a couple of years ago.  Was told he has never done, and will never do, an interview.

This was the case also with my attempt earlier this year.

With a new album out which is yet another step in a new direction, a new(ish) member and the absence of any weak releases ït would be interesting to find out more about IRM. What brought them to this point, where they are now and perhaps where they are heading.

Umpio as a new and unknown project would also be intersting.

Good call on Budrus. Another project that walks its own interesting path.

IRM, definitely, for the reasons TGE mentioned - there's enough thought behind their works to make up for several pages of in-depth interviewing.

At this point, I think is also good to remind that Special Interests is always looking for contributing writers! Mainly those who are interested to do interviews! e-mail or PM me for suggestion what you'd like to contribute and I'll let you know.

I second ANTIchildLEAGUE and CRUMER!

Another interesting UK project, SOFT OPTION KILLING. Hasn't released much (I aim to change that), keeps a very low profile and is all the more interesting as a person for it. Unlike the hordes of myspace whores crying me me me accompanied by one project blander than the next 24/7.

Hope to see more Soft Option Killing in the future!

As for the discussion, I there should be more of the essentials and more of the art of analogue tape noise. They're my favourite sections.
