I really would like in-depth articles about R&D Group and Produktion. If it is in SI or ALAP doesn't matter.

Something that I feel is lacking in a lot of interviews in general is follow-up questions. Think about it.

yeah. all the short ones were made to be on "one formula" basically. Thought to include bunch of standard questions for short interviews, but seems like will be none of those for next issue.
From long ones, I wasn't personally responsible of more than... one in #1? But yes, I agree and as for my own things and some contributions for #2, follow up questions are there.

I also think that boils down to the differance of making interviews in person and over the mail. I remember interviewing In Slaughter Natives years ago. It became a rather fun conversation over a couple of hours (hell to transcribe) that went from good to drunken rambling. Some people where upset with the casual reveling tone but Jouni said it was the best interview he ever given. We would never had gotten the same result over mail.

Stories covering local scenes/whatever are often interesting, if there are any... on groups of musicians, labels and organizers in, say, Bulgaria? Turkey? South East Asia? Not the common places people know about like UK, Finland, Japan, Benelux countries, Germany. If there's anything to be found in those quarters of the world worth attention.

You've check out 3xCDR set of Polish industrial/"difficult music"/experimental of past? Guy reponsible of the release is already of this forum. I think it's all up to people who want to contribute about their domestic scene. I'd welcome scene reports, current or historical views on certain periods.

Topic is cleaned a bit. Pretty hastely. If you feel your important suggestion was thrown out with "personal" mails, feel free to repost suggestions. I am toying around with making zine bigger, but if we'll see 1st year with standard 52 pages issues, and see next year potentially +30% more pages?

I'll third Jason Crumer
And how about Martin Bladh? I know he's got some interesting information on his blog, especially in his letters to Dennis Nelson, but I'd be interested to hear more about his inspirations and aspirations within his various projects.

Just got #2 in the mail -- looks great! I haven't had time to read more than a small portion of the magazine, but it will stay on top of my to-read-pile.

One small suggestion though. For the interviews, it would be great to know right away who has done the interview. I know that this is listed in the contents listing on page 3, but it would be nice to have this piece of credit somewhere clearly noted, maybe at the start or end of each interview. To me, it's a vital piece of information to know who is asking the questions.

FreakAnimalFinland

as said, that is mentioned in page 2, where credits are given. With reviews, initials indicate the author (and initials listed in beginning of review section). I thought about giving credit for interviews in beginning or end of interview, so yeah, might start from #3.

A Club Moral related article as Tommy and others have mentioned would be fantastic. To be honest I would prefer to have the article based entirely on 2nd hand perspective of individuals who interacted outside of DDV and AMVK. More intuned with artists that shared the bill, performed at or even individuals that just witnessed the related gigs. DDV has given more than enough information on his accounts of CM gigs both on the blog as well in Force Mental, interviews, etc. I think with the CM blogspot DDV has done a fine enough job of posting contact addresses of multiple individuals who at one time were associated in one way or another so the leads can start there. The problem of course is in these individuals actually taking the time to contribute when there is minimum to no gain on their part.

I'm 'GILLHAM' on the Troniks/Chondritic Sound board.

I got a copy of SI.2 off Dave/S&Q yesterday. Certainly looks good. Looking forward to reading it.

Some interviews I'd like to read are (some obvious choices here, but still) :

Eye/HANATARASH (covering entire history)
Juntaro/THE GEROGERIGEGEGE (but where is he?)
MAURIZIO BIANCHI (covering early recordings)
Mikawa/INCAPACITANTS
David Jackman/ORGANUM
Andy Bolus/EVIL MOISTURE
KK NULL (covering early solo recordings, A.N.P, etc)
Nobuo Yamada
Naohiro Ukawa
Hitomo Arimoto/BEAST 666, 777 was 666
Ron/EMIL BEAULIEAU, RRR
Steve Underwood/HARBINGER SOUND
WHITE HOSPITAL/GRIM/VASILISK
Z'EV
etc.

I would've said Ulex Xane/STREICHER if there wasn't already the great Degenerate interview.

TNB have never done interviews.

Figure it out for yourself who the members of DOMINATOR really are.
