I was pleasantly surprised by that tape being a lot more subdued with less vocals than the material on Bandcamp.

There's something there right in the core that really grabbed me.

I have never heard of this project before, thanks for sharing.  I think that the material on bandcamp presented a wide range of tones and atmospheres, which is really cool.  I thought that "Empty Chair//Death'sWhite Face" was especially excellent, and reminiscent of Ramleh.

^^^^ really wanted to like these guys more than I did when I saw them in Brighton.  I liked the crude, upfront sound of some of their recordings and it was disappointing that live it felt like a dynamic free, washed out mess with badly mixed levels.  Will definitely give them another shot sometime if the opportunity arises though.

That's a pity. I really like the album on Opal Tapes, its an intense trip. I would try and see them live given the opportunity.

Saw them live with Cremation Lily before ever hearing recorded stuff, it was really really good. Possibly a crap sound system or an off night when you saw them? I think there can be a really thin line between PE sounding raw and aggressive live and just sounding messy.

Just listened to new album by æþel electronics. They have LP version out on Hospital now. It's a very interesting album, love the medieval themes to it.

This is the Cremation Lily guy I believe. Will Black Psychosis have copies of this in by any chance?

Ah ok thanks, couldn't find any information about it.

No sorry, not planning on stocking Hospital releases. If it's Cremation Lily guy he might have some at Strange Rules in the near future.

I saw something floating around FB that said so, may have been Zen himself.
