I have a few videos I want to extract the audio... any program suggestions?
If this is already discussed somewhere, sorry for the next topic but I couldn't find it.

I either use soundforge of a free program named Video to Mp3 part of the Free Studio suite. be very careful when installing this since it tries to install lots of crappy side-programs.

I believe you can execute this action via 'Adobe Premiere' if you have it.

"Pazeera free audio extractor" also works fine. Multiple output formats, as well as a time selector so you don't have to convert entire video files. That said, if you've got a soundcard with a couple of extra outputs, you can simply grab the audio off that output and send it back into your DAW.

I just drop and drag a video file straight into Audacity and export the audio. I can cut and paste bits around there too

Play the video with audio line-out to tape through a mixer.
