Oh really? That's too bad. Yes true, what a legacy! Any new or other projects he's involved?

I reviewed a bunch of recordings on Heathen Harvest years ago, the project seemed to get better and better. I have all but two releases, that won't be for long. I think it's good to end with such a solid discography, but then also sad. I guess
it makes the S.T.A.B. gig in London even more special. I like everything, Power of September and Behavioural Decline are my favourite recordings.

When reason for the end was announced to be most of all lack of time due changes in personal life, I assume there is no other projects either at this time? At least it would feel logical.

Ah ok, didn't know about the reason, thanks for clarification.

HONOR_IS_KING!

Shame to see the project end but the legacy left behind is undeniable. Lee is one of the GOAT's. One of the greatest influences on my work.

Listened a lot to IFOTS in the last weeks, and again, too bad he decided to end it, though I fully understand the possible reasons.
So as I was too late on The Power of September and the IFOTS/Messiah Complex split it would be great if someone could release these in any form. Wouldn't mind for once if this time only in digital form.

I revisited this project lateley after some online talk and the last ever gig a few months back. I'd got into IFotS after seeing him at Rammel Club years back, but that final performance in a small pub was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen in my life. Back in my Heathen Harvest glory days I reviewed a lot of the releases from the Burial Hex split onwards and was allways impressed. So I played Who Will Help Me Wash My Right Hand and Tears Royal yesterday, really blown away. In my head I always had Behavioural Decline as the main release along with the debut The Power of September. But I forgot how experimental the project was, some of the synths are just really odd and good, but both the albums I played seemed to do what Behavioural Decline did and more.I feel the project always pushed itself into new territory.  I thought to myself right, now it's time, Power of September is going on, that despite being the debut destroys, it is intense beyond belief, my fookin' cdr had snapped some how, I'd got it off discogs years ago, all good, but somehow mine has snapped, boo hoo! Played the 2nd release with MessiahComplex and that hit the spot, super raw.
