What is the point of this thread?

You post here when you get butthurt about someone else getting butthurt... Then someone like you gets butthurt about that. So in essence, this is a thread about butthurt.

Haha, pure comedy. But somehow I always knew Chelsea is the root of all evil...

From what I understand, people snap their fingers instead of clapping now because clapping is too loud of a sound and it triggers them for whatever reason.
If clapping is too much for you to handle, you probably shouldn't be alive.

Yes I recall this being a student thing from last year

Doing "Jazz Hands" sign language is fine if you want to include those hard of hearing into an applause, but finger snapping just seems weird.

Washington Post writer says the remake of The Lion King is fascist. The article is behind a paywall so:

I've never seen T.L.K. so maybe he's correct.

All Disney films are fascist, how is this news?

the real controversy is that they are basically pretending it isn't animation https://www.cartoonbrew.com/ideas-commentary/jon-favreau-made-an-animated-lion-king-but-he-still-doesnt-want-you-to-call-it-an-animated-film-175028.html

As for the Sheryl Crow-Morrissey mashup, he said nearly as little thought went into the coverup as did the initial tattoo. “I was trying to find someone who hopefully wasn’t going to say something terrible – now I have to sit around and hope she doesn’t blow it in the next 30 years or so,” he said. “I don’t want to have to cross out another name.”
