They should just tell kids that there are no sexy Indians. They're all fat and drunk and pretty rough-lookin'.

some sexies still exist but theyre deep in the amazon. saw a couple recent documentaries and I got a little hot and bothered at times. wouldnt mind going exploring but I dont do well in hot climates.

People live in the Amazon? I thought that place was logged to the ground years ago.

it wasnt long ago, maybe last year or the year before when they discovered a brand new tribe of people,I bet theyre dead now but there still some tribes up there.

I want to paint a better picture of my injun sweetheart, she was the doctor of the village.  titties out in full tribal paint but she had on reading glasses and was working a  microscope. it was hot. I might have added the glasses in my fantasies but she was doing bloodtests etc. there were childbrides(pregnant 15-16 year olds, afghanistan dancing boys is much more hardcore) too but thats facinating only in a anthropoligical sense of course.

there was something in the news recently about stopping a highway going through the rainforrest, sounds exiting and a victory for the world right? in the end of the article it said the road was almost finished.

Forced male rape is always a pleasurable story to hear/read. So rare on the outside especially because men almost never speak of it happening.

I suppose that these "Occupy" camps would be magnets for people who just want to camp out and party and then some shit happens and it goes too far in some of those tents. Frotteurists would probably have a fucking hell of a great time too.

The words homosexual and heterosexual are both clinical psychiatric descriptions of people who in older days were called sodomites - perverts who were sexually active outside the Victorian married sex-for-procreation construction. Reasonably, both terms should be dropped and considered equally offensive. So what's the word you should use now? Or just drop the whole "I'm this and you are that" definition? We're all a bunch of fuckholes after all, I mean.

There is saying in Finland: "Ei nimi miestä pahenna, ellei mies nimeä."
Translation goes: "A name doesn't make a man worse, if the man doesn't make his name worse."

Translation doesn't appear to capture whole essence of this message, but I guess it's just enough. It always makes me think of something like Brethren "Hail Aids", which makes people always think of homosexuals when they read it. They could be thinking of junkies or whatever, but first thing of all, they associate terms like "spreading sickness", "aids", "immoral lifestyles" etc with homosexuals. And this always comes from more PC end of scenesters. They make the judgement based on their gut feeling, they made the conclusion without specific word appear in lyrics. And it tells all. No change of name/term will help. They want justice for gay people, drop the names with bad associations. But even in their own brain, bad association is focused to the group of people of specific type. Not just name/term.
It is sooooo fucking boring to see how some people think new name will simply solve issues. Like if calling yourself womyn instead of woMAN, will suddenly change the reality between sexes.

I guess over here, language is already much less gender biased. In Finnish language you have no "him", "her", "his", "hers", type of words specifying gender. It is one word for human, whatever the gender.

First: wise proverb.

Second: of course, changing certain words in the language changes everything. Without gender-specific pronouns, I suppose Finland is the most gender-equal country in Europe? As a rhetorical trick I guess it's a clever way of highlighting where one gender is taken for granted - for example, I know a lot of people (again the feminist librarians, haha) who are actively changing certain words in their everyday life. For example, the generic pronoun "you"/"one" - as in "you don't know what you got until it's gone" or "one should not do that" - is "man" in Swedish, and the persons mentioned have begun substituting this "man" for "en" (as in English "one"). Sounds pretty dialectal actually. Or the gender neutral "hen" instead of han/he and hon/she, trying to approach Finnish. I read some posts somewhere complaining about Frank Miller's comments. I was thinking "the only Frank Miller I've heard of does comics"; I didn't do any research to read what he wrote...

He's directed and produced a few movies in the last ten years.  He's better known for writing the graphic novels of Sin City, 300, Holy Terror (the one everyone is upset with), and The Dark Knight Returns (probably the greatest Batman graphic novel of all time).

This is insane to me.
The word "homosexual" makes perfect sense as the appropriate word. The prefix "Homo-" simply means "same." There is nothing derogatory, it's part of the language we have agreed on.
"Gay," on the other hand, makes far less sense because it is considered slang. It originally meant "excitement" and wasn't until later that it was somehow appointed to homosexuality.

I know at least one guy who likes referring to himself as a 'homo'. I think if I was of that persuasion I'd quite like to reclaim the word 'faggot'. Who the fuck is this creep who claims to speak for all poofs?

Political correctness in the sense of being aware of how language reinforces power imbalances can be a valuable thing. The problem comes when those in power start to use the terms as if that in some way corrects the fundamental inequality. If you are detained against your will in a nut ward and being injected daily with zombie-making chemicals, you're referred to as a 'mental health service user' by these bureaucrats.

When I was involved in the early days of the Mad Pride organisation I recall the horror of the 'caring professionals' when their charges started using the word 'mad' to describe themselves, when we released an album called 'Nutters With Attitude' etc. The bluntness drew attention to the realities behind the phoney words of concern.

I'm referred to as a 'service user' at the mental place I have to go to. It's a crock of shit, what's wrong with 'patient'. It's from idiots who have no idea what they are talking about trying to make everything nice and fluffy and inoffensive but failing miserably.
God damn, THAT is fucking retarded.
