It's depressing to think this is going on worldwide.  I tend to think of the American citizenry as the gullible idiots, but we clearly don't have that market cornered.

and how about those QAnons and Boogaloos.  Georgia (US) is likely to have one in congress, and 20 or so more are on tickets.  All but one are Republicans.  They could feasible have their own little faction in congress.  It's as loony as Scientology and Battlefield Earth type stuff.  They still think Pizzagate is real.

Scientology as  whole backs Trump hard, both the official church & the "freezoners"/independents.
