I am in tears.
These things should be documented.

War & Hate was an event that lived up to my expectations. Despite the fact that there was very few visitors (50-60 paying) and non-existant organizing skills, it was one of the most enjoyable festivals I've attended.

Friday:
The two first bands were completely uninteresting to me... mediocre black metal.
DEGIAL: death metal from Uppsala. intoxicating Necrovore worship... way more convincing live experience than the records I've heard with them.
SURVIVAL UNIT: had very little time to prepare this concert and Blade couldn't come with me. instead I was backed up by Hugo from Khmer Noir and Set Teitan from Watain. Audience seemed to enjoy it. One poor bastard got kicked three times in the head by Set.... another slashed his whole belly and face with a carpetknife. Urinations. Smearing with blood.... Good show!

Saturday:
KHMER NOIR: I've seen this duo several times now and followed their path from the very beginning. They've developed into one of the most interesting power electronics acts from Scandinavia and once again prove this with this performance... towards the end of gig there is a guest appearance by methfreak/babygoat Ferner - some good scumfuck traditions carried on there....
IRM: Professionals on stage. Lunatics outside. Nothing to complain about. They are an extremely competent live act and have remained so from the first time I saw them.
BRIGHTER DEATH NOW: The main reason for me staying the second day... Roger had forgotten all his gear in Lepizig so he borrowed some of mine. His sidekick this evening was Johan Adolphi (Sharons Last Party), and they managed to handle it in a most elegant way. In the beginning of the gig Roger tried to get the audience started, which of course wasn't so popular with all the psychos there. He got beaten down but was soon on his feet again... a dirty old drunkard grabbing young boys in the hair and doing various kinds of sexually provocative gestures. Sound was loud and powerful... Entertainment through pain. BDN are still one of my favourite industrial acts and I'm glad to see that death hasn't come for him yet.

On a train right now, but when I get back to town next week I'll post some photos.

Bloodreaper

Any pictures of the Survival Unit set? Must have been a great show...

After coming across a youtube IRM live clip from this event, I revisited this thread and got a chuckle from the various show reports.

Now, at the time I remember looking through a folder of photos from the event - maybe a blog or even Facebook page, but for the life of me can't locate it anywhere.  Any hints or tips to locate it would be appreciated.
