Untitled issue #4. Good noise zine, this issue expanding with more guest authors, variety of themes. Jeph Jerman telling about his experiments with decaying photos, MK9 talking about state of current international politics, war and such. Nystrand talking about noise opening connections of imagination, so to say.. Richard Stevenson talking about Noise Receptor magazine. Taylor Geddes writing about horror film. Also noise art, collages, interviews (hum of the druid, unexamine, etc). Merely 205 copies exists, so I'd recommend to grab it before it sells out..

Each issue is better. They are very visual and neat lay out. That also results they are pretty fast to read. Some of it is purely noise related, but also like subtitle of magazine "sounds and aesthetics" hints, there are visuals and literary hints that have less direct noise content. Magazine intents to be 2 issues a year. That would be really nice.

I guess their online presence is at instragram. @untitledzine
There should be various distributors out there.

Thank you for the kind words. Our goal is to have another issue out before the end of the year.

Our IG (@untitledzine) has a link to all of our distributors - we have pretty robust network of harsh heads carrying the zine all around the world at this point so it should be readily accessible.

Just got my copy recently and yeah, good read. Real nice collages by P van Trigt. Always admired his work, and these are exclusive to this magazine. Photo manipulation technique from Jeph Jerman is a real interesting process and I could see that natural decay yielding exciting results. I've always looked for other ways to make my own collages more distorted (without the use of photoshop and something more physical)... pissed on a couple of them but never quite got what I was going for. Ah well. Unexamine interview was entertaining to read. Cheers to Charlie for time theft. Looking forward to the next issue.

Could you contact me for possible whole sale-prices?

All the best,

Just got issues #3 and #4 in the mail today after going back and forth many times about whether I needed a printed noise zine. Isn't there enough information online to keep one satisfied? Well, turns out that it's an extremely refreshing experience after so many years of solely consuming noise through online channels to receive a physically printed publication, take the time to sit down to thoroughly read something, and digest the content.

Just like buying physical releases vs. downloading off of Bandcamp, of which I do both, I'm enjoying consuming a tangible object. Not only the beautiful collage pieces, but the physically printed covers, well-laid-out interviews, and general aesthetic throughout each edition. I love the huge 8.5x11 layout which lets the cover art really shine, similar to how good artwork looks better on an LP jacket vs smaller formats.

Looking forward to issue #5, might try to dig for the first couple of issues, and hope that the Untitled Zine has a long run.

Need to go back and get some Special Interest and Noise Receptors as well...

Your comments above about tangible consumption of material hits the nail on the head why I produce Noise Receptor Journal, and why the 'premium' content I produce (in the form of the long-form interviews) is only available in print.

If you are considering getting copies of Noise Receptor Journal, an easy 'entry point' is the compendium book reissues of sold out issues via Headpress UK. Volume 1 collating issues 1, 2 & 3 is already out and Volume 2 collating issues 4, 5 & 6 is complete will be out this year. Deluxe hardback versions available via Headpress only, while the standard softcover edition is available via main outlets such as Amazon.

We (Chris and I) truly appreciate the support. In this day it's a lot to ask for anyone to shell out their hard earned cash with so many great artists, releases and labels out there (plus the ever increasing cost of living on all fronts) - we're extremely grateful for anyone who takes the time to read our little project.

Issue 5 is coming together. We have an absolutely outrageous goal of getting another issue out before 2023. Can it be done? Stay tuned.....

Managed to grab one last copy of debut issue from Rusalka's webstore when ordering her collage book. Besides Throne Heap interview, Rusalka writing two pages about collage art is by far best in the zine - also that it works as good introduction to her own artbook that came in same package! Now I got all issues, and can say every issue has been step forward in some ways, but also all issues worth trying to hunt down somewhere.
