Good stuff. The second part with the cat running away is a classic. As well as the rest.
Ages ago there was an article in Guitar Player magazine about Japanese "noise" guitar bands such as Boredoms, Melt Banana and what have you, and it also included Solmania and discussed some of his guitars. I wish I still had the mag.

If I remember right, there was a post about a recent Pharmakon live show, which now seems to have disappeared (or maybe it was another thread). I have to say, that I like it a lot, different vocal style and noisier than before, it seems. I think it was this one: https://youtu.be/gmgoMQPvMsIThey? There's one person on stage. That was amazing, I like how they really take control of the sound and there's never a dull moment. How are they doing those vocals with all of that already going on though? In my tests with that vocals get completely buried. In the case that I do have vocals going it basically pauses everything else since it takes over the mix and there's nothing going on behind it like this. |
