Recommendations on video makers/editors.
Preferably free or cheap. No funds for top of the chain software.

I noticed that many people advise Davinci Resolve. I used it for several weeks, but in the end, I couldn't stand it and deleted it. I don't understand why it seems convenient for most users. In addition, the video is rendered for a very long time.  I advise you to go to this site and download Movavi. All my newbie friends use it to understand the basics and main principles of video editing. It will be interesting to find out which program you will like the most in the end.  I wish you good luck in your endeavors. If you need more practical tips on video editing, write to me in private messages.

Filmora is quite okay if you only need something quick, it's not as flexible as something as Davinci or Lightworks but a lot more friendly for your PC and less of a learning curve. Play with it for an hour and you know what you can do, it's really quick. Don't think they have a free plan anymore, but it should be affordable enough.
