Was wondering both if he's still around and what he's been doing.  Appears he's playing with electro-acoustics, and there's a track on his soundcloud from three months ago.  I go back to his Ground Fault CD often.  No great insight here.  Feel he deserves his own thread.

Yesterdays playlist.
Two split CDR releases of SICKNESS. Both from 2000. Prurient split is 20 mins mCD. Originally 3"cdr on Ninth Circle, but this one is Hospital productions reissue from same year as regular sized cdr. Sickness is harsh and fast paced, but still kind of "hand made" feel to it. Meaning cut up noise that could be played, as oppose to edited? Prurient is also harsh noise, but also moments of his old style of ultra high pitched feedback. All seems no-overdubs type simple noise recordings. Crispy and nice sound.

Phroq is good harsh noise accompanied with tasty sounds of asian sexy ladies moaning. I guess the asian-fetish might be a bit less popular in contemporary noise. It makes me wonder what other stuff I have from this guy. I think there was CDR on Stimbox's harshnoise -label at least...  Anyways, Sickness here is really nice! I'm sure artists might not hold this material so high value, as it is really some of the early work, where no really cut ups, no stop & go, almost none of the trademark stylistics of Sickness, but nevertheless, it was some of the earliest things I heard and this is still solid harsh noise blasting. Fast forward, sharp, very distorted. None of the "wow how this was done" - moments, but simply "wow, hitting hard, with no mercy!".

Sickness "Another Lamb For The Slaughter" CDR
Solipsism
Another early Sickness CDR. 9 tracks, totalling 68 minutes. Harsh noise 20 years ago. There is one thing that bugs me. On the linernotes, Self Abuse and Taint is thanked, and am I delusional, but doesn't last track sound as if Taint was featuring in it? All the other stuff on CD is brutal harsh noise storm, and then suddenly the vocals, the high pitched feedback torment etc.  Chris has very good vocals himself. There is great Slogun song played by Sickness on some release, where Chris does very strong vocals, but this last track on CDR sounds very much like Keith? I can't see any information about that, but around the time this CDR came, there was also Sickness/Taint/Skin Crime CDR release as well as V.D., collaboration of Sickness & Taint happening. Good stuff.
