I saw today (TESCO post on FB) that Cold Meat is returning... what are p[eoples feeling on this.

Personally I'm ambivalent. Whilst 'And Even Wolves...' was an early album entry to a lot of that sort of music I think it is better to move forward rather than trying to recapture the past.

The relaunch of CMI was actually announced via a printed flyer at the CMI 30th anniversary show this time last year.  The first three releases, according to the flyer, are meant to be:

Lille Roger - Undead 1984-87 5 x CD / 8 x LP box
BDN - Primative Perversions 3 x MC
Thurnemans - Sala 7"

When I had a chat to Roger, he said he wanted to the relaunch to be low key and building organically and see where it goes. Clearly he will be releasing what he wants and sounds like it will be more of a passion project now that Tesco are handling the business side of things.  Based on this attitude and slated releases, I am more than happy about it.

Agreed. Totally into it. That Lille Roger set is pretty much the most anticipated release ever for me.

Fuck, I hope enough copies are made of that Lille Roger release. It'll probably disappear five minutes after release announcement. Better subscribe to the Tesco website.

Pre-order : http://www.tesco-germany.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=6340 , 6XLP Boxset, 500 copies.

Anyone knows if will be CD edition too ? Price is fine but if a CD edition comes out i ll prefer it to save some money. 500 copies is not small edition though, so i doubt it will be a CD one. Any info ?

No CD planned, apparently.

Ah, fuck! I can only hope sense prevails and they at least upload the content to their Bandcamp page.

Really? For when? I'm certain I saw Tesco reply to a query on fb by saying there was no CD planned.

murderous_vision

The original flyer handed out at the CMI fest stated that there would be. On social media when the LPs were announced, Tesco stated that it was not planned. So, I would guess that it may come at some point, but it won't be now, and I don't think I would count on it.

Andrew McIntosh

Well, this doesn't inspire confidence.
