I'm very late to the game...as in hearing Knurl for the first time last year.  I'm incredibly impressed with everything I've heard.  Powerful and dynamic sound and sounds.  Works well when I'm taking a break from all the Merzbow listening.  I find the same satisfaction and enthusiasm.  Pyrolysis crunched my mind just yesterday.

Just booked him here again in Montreal a couple weeks back. He really gave it his all going to work using two violin bows on a car spring wired with guitar strings, and later using a chain on the same unit (at one point holding the car spring up by the chain and letting it drop/bang on the floor a few times). After 25 years still giving engaging performances and putting out worthy releases it's clear that the guy is just truly dedicated to his craft.
