On 23rd of August you have the opportunity to enjoy a late summer evening and potent live music in a beautiful old villa in Hietasaari, Oulu.

The evening is organized as an invitation only event. You can become a guest simply by sending an email to *vljsltm(at)gmail.com*

The villa can only accommodate a limited amount of guests, so one is wise to act quickly. Persons arriving from outside of Oulu may enquire about possible overnight stay at the villa - but this must be done beforehand.

The entrance fee is 10 euros. We ask for payment in advance. More info can be requested via email or found on the website (in Finnish only, unfortunately):

SINK had to cancel this gig and mighty FLESHPRESS was replacing them.

Great evening, as usual. Weather treated us better than expected (less rain). Ending summer and soon starting autumn was present.

Pain Nail threw an annihilating and loud set. Seriously screeching highs and devastitingly low roars. In contrast there was also parts of carefully handling metal objects, slowly teasing out detailed sounds of metal, atmospheric synth accompany. Towards end set got seriously loud, paintings on the wall were shaking. My beer can traveled through the table almost fell off. Smell of burning electronics. Not so much of vocals during the set, but everytime they were shouted, it was a call of total command. This was the type of show, where the band grabs you by the throat and won't let go until the set has come to the end. One of the best PE sets I've ever seen. HAIL PAIN NAIL!

After the ashes of Pain Nail destruction had fallen, Pyhä Kuolema performed a set of songs about death. Past dead people, funeral songs. This time there was another guitarist to play leads. Haunting, beautiful, morbid, powerful and highly personal set. Enjoyed highly, as usual.

Fleshpress closed the evening with great set. Can't really put it in words how it was, there was a lot of changes of pace, crushing riffs, long atmospheric parts and then again sudden burst of aggression. The way Fleshpress delivers! Excellent ending for an excellent event.

Once again Veljesiltamat proved to be a totally unique event, there's nothing like it around. Atmosphere at the villa area is always a pleasure to be around. Going to sauna after the bands, swim in the gutter, or is it a river? Enjoy the darkening night. Massive hails to the people who made this happen. I salute you with honor!
