Mazurka Editions and Sabbatical Present:

LA County Morgue (Newcastle NSW)

The first Melbourne show for Newcastle resident Jarrod Skene's LA County Morgue, and Sydney resident Tony McKey's Pleasure Bros. Tape processing, loops, contact microphone effects/pedal gaze and black-hole ambiance. Also performing are two local projects with releases forthcoming on Jarrod's Mazurka Editions imprint (Smash Tennis and Dick Threats) and former Newcastle residents Flat Fix.

Second show associated with the Mazurka Editions Victorian visit:

All you scrubbers carn down for the hn piss up of the year. Down for the festivities will be NS Welshmen L.A. County Morgue (Mazurka Editions) and Pleasure Bros (Teen Ax). Won't set you back a dollar, except for all the piss you need to bring. It's on at Holdings (492 Bell Street Pascoe Vale South). First act kicks off at five.

That looks like a fine gig. Zog Machine were the act that impressed me the most from the last International Noise Conference gig in Melbourne. Wouldn't mind seeing if he can repeat the sheer, stabbing volume.

Holdings show now has Neckhold on the lineup. Local noise blowout of the year confirmed.
