Recently put a bunch of my material on Spotify- I know this will result in no financial gain but I liked the idea of having my material available on the platform I use for most of my music consumption and there are probably others out there looking for a PE fix on Spotify.

It looks like Emeralds recently uploaded some rare or out-of-print material:

Glass Ceiling cs
Planetarium cs
No More Spirits Over the Lake CDr
Fresh Air 7"
Emeralds (*self-titled 2009 album)
Allegories of Allergies (*This release is a remastered "hybrid" release that has the tracklisting of the original Gods of Tundra cassette but with shorter lengths similar to those on the Weird Forest LP version.)

I've always been a big Emeralds fan and tracked down MOST of these releases but it's really nice to have some of them available digitally. Wondering why all of a sudden they bothered with new uploads. Anyone have any insight?

Steve Hauschildt posted on FB:

Finally! After a few years of trying to get this together- my old band Emeralds has a new bandcamp that will be going live tomorrow. This first phase will consist of 8 releases from the back catalog, many of which have been remastered including unreleased live recordings (and some unreleased limited vinyl, preorder TBA tmrw). There will be more remastered albums added in the near future as well so be sure to follow the official page here for all of the latest updates.

There is also the Imaginary Softwoods reissue on Amethyst Sunset.

props to this thread for teaching me the label:"search" feature. (ie label:"Hospital Productions" in search bar.)

This is great to know!  I did not know that.
A caterpillar that goes around trying to rip the wings off of butterflies is not a more dominant caterpillar, just a caterpillar that is looking for a bigger caterpillar to crush him.  Some caterpillars are mad that they will never grow to be butterflies.

It's already 46 hours long.

I just realized that this thread is from three years ago, but hey, great music recommendations are timeless, right? Your playlist of harsh noise on Spotify sounds pretty epic, and it's impressive that it's already 46 hours long!
While this thread may be old, if you're still interested in boosting the reach and engagement of your playlist, you might want to check out https://streamingfamous.com/buy-spotify-plays/. They offer services to help you increase Spotify plays and gain more exposure for your playlist. It could be a cool way to connect with more listeners who appreciate your unique taste in harsh noise.
