Avarus is a sprawling gestalt entity, made up of a who's who of the Finnish underground. Presided over by the frenzied charisma of Arttu Partinen (Amon Dude, Hetero Skeleton), who is at home swimming in frozen lakes as busting a drum kits arse. It features members of The Anaksimandros, Pylon, Kiila, Munuaissymposium, Kemialliset Ystävät and Lau Nau. They've toured the world several times over to great acclaim and are returning to Leeds after about 7 years. Expect a constantly evolving lysergic fug of folk stylings, transcendent drone, tender electroacoustics, shimmering noise, sweaty metal, and day-glo synths.

Neil Campbell & Michael Flower
Two ever-youthful-looking veterans of the Leeds music scene reunite to rip it up once more. You'll probably have seen their faces in The Vibracathedral Orchestra, Astral Social Club, The Mick Flower Band, Lizgizzad, The A Band and a host of other esteemed avant-rock combos. Their frequent duo performances are a feast of loud and wild primal motorik casio and guitar boogie which is not to be missed.

Moral Holiday
Phil Todd of Ashtray Navigations unplugs his guitar and plugs in a load if analogue synth junk for a dark trek into the hinterlands where electro-pop and power electronics cross sabres.

Half An Abortion
Smashy crashy noise and scratched soundscapes from Crater Lake Festival honcho.
