I know this topic certainly might cross-over by other topics but doesn't matter...

So, what exactly I'm talking about? I don't mean BOOKS or magazines. But something more of booklets, pamphlets, etc. Basically from one sheet items to bigger booklets. Consisting obscure culture, philosophy, manifests and all sorts of eccentric interests.
Very often, not by legendary or widely appreciated authors, but more underground researches, arm-chair philosophers and perhaps plain nutcases.

What for example?

Aorta and Ahnstern certainly should be familiar to people? If not, I suggest to get Blutleuchte book asap.

Recommendations? Feel free to post!

THE EQUILIBRIUM MANIFESTO : A Tribute To The Faustian Spirit
by Timo Kölling, 1997.
Unfortunately I do not have the original. Only re-print. About dozen pages text by Timo Kölling, who is perhaps know by some people by editor of Moondance (ger) magazine, which mixed together metal, experimental and culture. Final issue back in 2000 included all sorts of things from Ulver to Blood Axis and works of Julius Evola etc.
Later he has been known from contributing lyrics for Sagittarius (cold spring) and doing vocals in some bands as well.
This manifesto takes influenced & references from kind of usual suspects, Nietzsche, Spengler, Jünger, Miguel Serrano, etc.. and concludes pretty much what the title of booklet says. Tribute to faustian spirit. Those who are not utterly turned off by esoteric national socialism get most out of this.

Re-printed back in 2011 in WOMB#3 mag (fin).

I'd recommend the collection "Rants and Incendiary Tracts: Vices of Desperate Illumination 1558 to Present", edited by Bob Black and Adam Parfrey. It was co-released by Amok Press and Loompanics Unlimited back in 1989 but is still easy to find. The title pretty much sums it up. It includes pieces covering a wide array of ideologies and concepts. Some of the highlights for me include a de Sade excerpt, Karl Heinzen's "Murder", "The Revolutionary's Catechism" of Nechayev, the "Anarcho-Futurist Manifesto", a piece by Carl Panzram and Renzo Novatore's "Iconoclasts, Forward!"
Where we're from, the birds sing a pretty song and there's always music in the air.

"As long as humans have hands to draw with, topics such as fucking, sucking, tits, ass, sodomy, pink cunts and big dicks along with death, murder, politics and power will always be on our cave walls." -Joe Roemer

I already quited this some time ago:

ARMED JOY

http://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/alfredo-m-bonanno-armed-joy

Completely over-the top anarchist pamphlet that calls for armed uprising in Anarchist ranks.
This guy has been arrested also in recent years for armed robberies.

I've always enjoyed Bonanno's writings. In the same vein, pretty much anything published by Elephant Editions (his UK publisher) is excellent. Mainly insurrectionalist anarchist texts.

S.C.U.M Manifesto by Valerie Solanas
More known for being the woman who shot Andy Warhol, a completely hilarous femi-nazi pamphelt that has been taken quite seriously by mani fem-idiots I met during the years.

http://www.womynkind.org/scum.htm

I think it is brilliant even after so many years.

Homosexuality and Liberation: Elements of a Gay Critique
by Mario Mieli

Pretty rare book, published in several languages in the 70's. This has been the most radical book on the subject, he is seen as one of the most acclaimed persons in the gay lib movement, but once you read the book you find a call for complete sexual liberation including pedophilia, necrophilia, scat-fun, bestiality and so on.
Very acculturate individual coming from my hometown, used to go around in drag, sometime with a fur and completely naked, at first he was a very intelligent agent provocateur, then started loosing it and wrote/eprformed weird theatre act including self mutilation and coprophilia leading to multiple charges and lawsuits.

Of course when you talk about the average gay right militant he won't quote the pedo/necro stuff... Definitely a must read.

This is a collection of essays from VEGAN REICH's fanzine VANGUARD. There are some quite explicit thoughts and manifestos, especially "THE WAY IT IS".
Radical environmentalism, veganism and straight edge with quite a delusional (yet entertaining) approach.

The conqueror manifesto - by Pete Helmkamp

"written in the spirit of Crowley's book of the Law, Nietzsche's Antichrist, and Desmond's might makes right, the conqueror manifesto hails the self will as father of all. Through the heightening of the two creative attributes of strength and wisdom, the conqueror manifesto details how humankind can embark on a quest towards the plateau of invincibility and attain godhood. This process -- termed heretic supremacy -- is fully elaborated with philosophical, occultural, and historical examples. In addition, an apologetic discussion of both the swastika andthe pentacle, historical perspectives on various judo Christian myths, the relevance of amoral ' eye for an eye' S6 on modern day society, and numerous ' forbidden' topics, fully complete this work. Written at the end of the 20th century, the conqueror manifesto appears to be either the last gasp of an ancient glorious era, or the threshold to an even greater age. Will we engender the fierce spirit? Only the next century will tell ... "

Quite an articulate work for coming from the undeground,

The conqueror manifesto - by Pete Helmkamp

I have this somewhere.. wasn't the original printed in this newsprint style of paper. Very thin and soft paper like newspaper. Short to the point sentences. Good piece for what it is... I think the most credit should be to compare with Might Is Right, or "The Survival of the Fittest", whatever it's called. Even if I hardly believe in survival of fittest, it's still kind of charming concept..

"A Handbook Of Traditional Living." Finnish version of includes either two italian texts "Il Mondo della Tradizione" and "Unita Operanti per il Front Della Tradizione" or also some bonus material, depending which edition you buy.

English version: http://www.arktos.com/raido-a-handbook-of-traditional-living.html

QuoteThis book consists of two texts originally published by the Italian cultural organisation Raido, translated here for the first time: The World of Tradition and The Front of Tradition. The first is a comprehensive summary of the principal ideas of Julius Evola. The esoteric history of the world, the nature of the Primordial Tradition, and the crisis of the modern world are discussed. The second, while also steeped in the Evolian worldview, presents a more practical guide for living as a traditionalist. Guidelines for life as an individual living in detachment from modernity, as well as for developing and being a member of an organisation dedicated to the restoration of Tradition, are outlined. This book argues that ideology and strategy are not enough by themselves. The individual who desires a revolt against the modern world must first internalise and conduct all of one's actions in accordance with the way of life of Tradition. Also included are methods for doing this.

Whether the reader is an Evolian, a traditionalist or is merely seeking a means for survival in a degraded age, this handbook will be inspiring to them all.

I have the original Finnish edition, but I assume 2nd print is better as it has corrected typos & language and few Evola translations added as bonus.

Rants and Incendiary Tracts should be essential reading for anyone. There are a lot of great Bob Black works as well. Bonanno, Ranter/Faun/Landstreicher, Zerzan (esp. Anti-Authoritarians Anonymous) and plenty of greet, more modern texts are wonderful as well. I've already mentioned my love of Novatore and other insurrectionist/individualist/egoist/illegalist tracts from early 20th century elsewhere.

I do a wall-newspaper dealing with overpopulation, economic colonization of everyday life with work as it's avant-garde, etc. which is basically just a short essay cut & pasted with clip-art and kind of kooky eighties "marginal milieu" type layout. When I get back to my place and get some things sorted out, I'd be glad to mail anyone the first issue or two.

I always enjoyed Secret and suppressed and Apocalypse Culture but I guessing that isn't what you where after.

I love those booklets that was all around before the internet. Just weird shit floating around. There seems like a lot was coming from the TOPY network.
One series of -zines I read about in an issue of Headpress was Psychedelic Nazis. I never managed to track down any copies but the images where weird to say the least. The editor Rosa Schlüpfer had a real thing for Nazis and Hippies.

There is also the bootleg or let's call it tribute collection of industrial manifestos Nothing Short of Total War.

I wouldn't mind to read the various essays related to the so called Church of war.
I have only seen some images her and there on Peter Gilmore's The Black Flame.

Kudos for thread. I think it will provide interesting future reading. Will contribute w material later. Thanx for the Blutleuchte and Armed Joy drops. Will def check out.

A historical note for this thread that might fit in: Broadside printing and publishing - one sided material printed on one single piece of cheap paper. Format was easy to distribute and low cost. Very much like zines and pamphlets today, though these have usually more than one page. B. Printing was in essence these were one sided posters in various sizes announcing events or proclamations, advertisements; while B. publishing involved poems, texts, etc. If it was artistic material it was often called street literature. In fact, this was the medium Charles Bukowski started presenting his works to the public in.
