I suggest Wince/WCN/Oskar Brummel again. To me that's the next logical step from the Phage interview.
I support this notion as well.

Check out Ryan's interview at Pure Stench Already have, and it was killer. I'd like to see Vilk interview him. I feel he'd have some excellent questions. Same with Mikko. I'd also like to put in Hostage Pageant for an interview as well.

I want to do an interview because I have become increasingly less motivated to post my opinion in the noise threads and I feel more comfortable doing an interview. Already did one interview and I am ready for the second one, PM me for my email.
Striations.

agreed about SOK, I remember doing some shows with him in the UK and his sets were well developed and interesting - isnt Hospital supposed to put out an LP by him?
I dont know if its suitable for SI but how about Clang Quartet, his approach and outlook is certainly different from everyone else
and while I'm at it, how about an interview with WRECK & DROOL from Israel, I've been fascinated by those guys ever since I 1st read their name, I think one of the guys lost his leg in a bombing (dont quote me on that, I could be wrong)
BEST - Ron
Ron just reminded me; I think we can agree that the 'foundation' --as M put it-- ov industrial-into-harsh-noise-kultur is TRANSGRESSION: taboos, sexual pathology, radikal ikonoklasm, and radikal empiricism (believing nothing not seen with your own eyes). Exploration ov art and kultur kontiguous to the subjekt ov transgression should inklude mor than just artists, I want to read interviews and artikles about hacktivists, paramilitary organizations, kriminals, perverts and forms ov art so novel they hav not het even been identified as art, such as korporate-fascist psi-ops, propaganda kampaigns (piece ov SHIT VICE MAGAZINE is now demonizing the 9-11 truth movement for example) and mass-murder performance art such as the FBI's "group show" where a krowd ov citizens were shot and many killed in Colorado as a sik sort ov meta-promotional stunt in koncert with the investors ov the Batman franchise.

SI will remain most of all "experimental sound" magazine. Themes that are involved in music can be covered. There is new feature of books starting in SI #8. Meaning various artists (in this issue Sick Seed) talks about some essential book(s), what in some ways relate/influence their work or them as person. Be it fiction, non-fiction, text or image books, whatever. Future issues will have more.
However, to cover all sorts of "transgressive" issues without direct contact to sound-art is useless. There are (or has been) plenty of magazines, websites, and forums for sex, violence, conspiracy, cults, murderers, but very little for this side of experimental sound what SI covers.
Amount of coverage of literature or/and art related to noise may increase in future, but I hope it all comes from angle of experimental sound works.

Cowards would be my first pick. Forgotten Resonance was one of the best releases I had heard last year, let alone one of the best debut albums.
Seconded!!! Control Resistance Loss [they release amazing "I Kill Everything" album] Where I can find interviews with Skm-Etr guy and Operation Cleansweep?

There was an interview w/ Control Resistance in an old issue of Descent magazine, probably from the '90s.

Yes, it wasn't exactly an exhaustive interview with Control Resistance. I could photocopy it, though, if you're stuck. The same issue had an interview w/ Genocide Organ, which I think is the only one that was ever published (and against the wishes of the band, too). I just checked, and I reckon the mag. was from 1998 or so - the final issue.
