I would like to see boxset of Self Abuse Records' "Murder Series". Boxset of all 7" or on cds will be great!

According to Self Abuse Records, a good idea for a reissue on multiple CD box set:

SELF ABUSE MURDER SERIES

there was actually a box set of all 12 7"s plus a 13th lathe-cut 7" by Emil Beaulieau 'playing' the other 12 included. i don't know much about it apart from it was made of wood, was apparently very smart, and there was only 20 or 25 of them made. the only thing online i could find is this (it says ltd 13 here but that's definitely wrong) :

I didn't know for that. Thank you.

I would like to see some reasonable amount of copies for that 7" box. Cd box will be also great.

Knurl - Maybe with all the old self-released tapes re-mastered for CD...that'd be like what? 10 CDs?

Agog - All the tapes he did for his project on Spagyric, on CDs, pack it into a junk-statue of some sort - that'll be his memorial!

I think 25 copies is probably correct on the box set. When I received that, I sold off all the spares I had of the Murder series. It would be interesting to have them all in the order they were released on a couple of cd's.

keith - have you got any better pictures of the murder series box set, or could take some, please?

i checked an old email off patrick, and yes - 25 copies of the box set, 13 of which went to the acts involved. the other 12 copies retailed for $100. i had a chance to buy it off someone in the whitehouse yahoo group in the early 2000s but passed on it in the end, partly because i already had about half of the 7"s, and always regretted it.

The murder box is stored away. It's just a wooden box with no graphics. I can't imagine releasing something like that today; it's cost a fortune to mail overseas!

When my 7" was released, the test pressing was lost in the mail. The damn thing showed up long after I received my artist copies- my test press is with the original art for the covers & inserts.

The 3 CDs in the self-titled/untitled set (also known as 'PAP') are reissues of three tapes from the late '80s.  Top stuff.

ok, no problem re. the murder box. yeah, you are right, in 2001 patrick estimated it would cost $30 to ship airmail overseas, so dread to think what it would cost now.
