MILWAUKEE NOISE:2005-2010 12xCS BOX SET
FTAM-030/SR BOX-2
Professionally Printed/Duplicated cassettes w/ Full Cover Insert, 12 page b/w Zine with Full Color Cover
House in Vinyl Case

Since 2005, the Milwaukee noise scene has grown from a disjointed smattering of weirdos to where it is now: a thriving and diverse creative community. FTAM and Starved Relations have decided to capture the first five years of this growth by putting together the "Milwaukee Noise: 2005-2010" box set. The twelve cassettes contained within highlight a number of the heavy hitters from the scene during these years (most of whom are still active in Milwaukee). From all out harsh assaults and heavy power electronics to modular synth drones and tape machinery wizardry, the box set truly captures the wide range of approaches and the high level of quality the city has and continues to cultivate.

Artists included:
Blessed Sacrifist
Captivity
Climax Denial

Dan of Earth
Lucky Bone

What length are the tapes?

Most are in the area of c20's, but they do vary. The shortest is (i believe) a c16 and the longest is (again, if I remember correctly) a c60.

Those samples sound nice and there are a handful of good projects, but no Wince?!

Wince, while awesome, does not live in Milwaukee. He hails from minneapolis. Glad your digging the samples!
