Maybe a stupid question, but is it necessary to reserve tickets? I just moved to Finland and I'm not familiar with the club/the usual turn up etc.

FreakAnimalFinland

I would say there is no need or possibility to reserve tickets. Best thing is to turn up early enough. If it gets sold out - which is rare case, only those people who show up very late will suffer...

Lasersoniks was goofy noise with two effected vocalist screaming with assorted effects (delay mostly) and sax player and some backing tape. First gig? Maybe. I think live drummer would have made it probably much better. Now it seemed to lack something compared to length of set.

KSNK was rumbling metal junk noise. Not aggressive, more lo-fi and oppressive. Good sound elements, very tasty piece of equipment in form of that "nest of metal wire" thing, yet his focus was most of all in metal bucket with spring attached. With little more structure and form, I think could be very good!

Bizarre Uproar.... After so many shows, can I say his best? No "offensive" or provocative elements, no video, no performance, just great noise!! It shows clearly BU's strength is not only to be most vile shit-in-the-face-sieg-hail-salute provocation, but simply musically the textures and the compositions of the various pieces played on the set was super great! Growing industrial elements of percussive rhythms and abundance of details in sound. Huh... ! Featuring Sick Seed in guest vocals and metal junk, with new clean cut hairdo - the man was in his element here. Good vocal performance, good stage presence!

Grunt set was somehow plagued by rookie technical troubles, yet I don't think it was so obvious for majority of listeners. Soundcheck went so well, in moment of confidence, turned amp volume notch up for actual live and compression caused by it ruined possibility to control balance levels of each distinctive sound in a way I would have wanted...  Set went decently, but especially managing to unplug myself from amp before end of set was annoying. Luckily that, not blowing up the gear what I thought it was. Quite satisfied, but one would hope at this point to avoid things what after show appear so obvious.

Mikko pretty much nailed it above.

Lasersonics was quite worthless to my ears. Vocalists were not too bad but noise was completely lacking in energy. Could be much better with noisecore type of instrumentation, drums etc.?

KSNK also lacked energy and/or direction. Sounded lazy and as if the performer's heart just wasn't in it. Now the result was something between a delicate "sound study" and classic metal bashing but being actually neither. Last show by him at Lepakkomies was much better.

Bizarre Uproar was by far the highlight. Powerful, loud and skillful noise, simple as that. Most of all I liked the exquisite self control, no need to hurry, every sound and element had its own time and place. And if you ask me, lack of provocation and filth made it all the more enjoyable. Best BU gig I have witnessed.

Grunt was good but maybe something was missing? I liked the Broken Flag fest set more. Or maybe I was just tired.

Lasersonics was alright, seemed like a jam session.

KSNK had great moments. He managed to continue set very strongly after the abrupt cut at the beginnin. Punishing sounds! BU played real brutal set, strong in your face approach. Controlled, strict and merciless. Also very nice addition to have SS Offizer vocals! Grunt was superior to me, nice 'two part' set, first with synth sounds, junk etc with awesome vocal work. After that the real onslaught began, the 'second part' of the set was killer noise, not a single boring moment, just mercilessly whipping and beating junk. Bonus points for stylish junk screeching by Vanhala, also the two man approach made the set much more 'threatning' so to say.

All, but we'll see how it sounds direct from mixing table rather than from room itself...

Sounded pretty good!

90+ audience. Good event. Nice that someone outside the "noise circles" is organizing gigs as well.
