Yeah, I think the releases they've done that are 80's influenced in playing and production style have been excellent.
Some people can't seem to look past the perceived "hipster" tag of the label though.

There are definitely better labels out there though!

Zeno Marx

one of my favorite crust bands, but I don't really think of them as crust.  they're a punk hybrid of sorts.  This is a solid album in their own style.  No stumbling evolution.  The album prior to this, Last Cries, appears to be slated for re-release on LP, too.

Bad Influence - Preaching to the Converted - early British anarcho punk crossed with early British crust crossed with 80s indie crossed with Voi Vod or Die Kreuzen (October File). Might sound like a mess, but it isn't at all.

Wow. I can't believe anyone (although I do certainly understand it because of where so many people on noise/"power electronics" in america are coming from) could put down swedish/finnish/uk82/d-beat/crust in favor of stupid, modern, slickly-produced tough guy/brain dead mosh core bullshit.

I'm not saying that style of punk/hc is the greatest form of music ever, but come on.

Oh, and I just read the first page for the first time.

STREET PUNK THE MOVIE

Damn great documentary showing what was going on in the punk scene in London in the mid-90's.
Many interviews to concert goers, punks, skins, crusties, many drunk... everybody seems to be having a laugh.
Many bands, some I have been a huge fan of (ONE WAY SYSTEM, VARUKERS, MENACE, THE STAINS, UK SUBS, Oxymoron etc.), some I have never heard of and I definitely need to know more about (AIR BOMB, Screamer and, more than anything, POLICE BASTARDS, fucking intense stuff).
Funny to see several persons that a a couple of years later were often seen at Hinoeuma/Slimelight gigs.

Two hours long, sometime a bit tedious but definitely worth a watch if are into those kind of sounds.

constant repeat as of late: WALLS - The Future Is Wide Open. one of the best records of 2012, in my opinion.

Friend of mine gave me an album of theirs years ago. Probably should have kept it, but after after a few listens you get the idea too much. He told me they were a piss-take band, but as usual with these things, how can you tell just by listening?

This, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-fFm0XvLUc, though, rules. Best before-song banter I've heard in a long time.
