Tributes commonly suck.  The Amebix Japan album was no exception and was pretty much underwhelming.  The Amebix Balkans is impressive.  Some really nice tweaks and variations on the songs.  I only know a couple names on the band list, but there isn't a stinker on it.  Held my attention and was a real joy to hear; nice since tributes almost always make me feel like I'm wasting my time.

Last week I was re-listening to a German project that I saw a couple of years ago that play a very powerful mix of hardcore, melodic punk rock with strong rock and roll feel.
Very short songs with aggressive live presence.

Shows usually lasts 20 mins.

The singer is a real live-animal.

three names:  Kylma Sota, Kieltolaki, Clown.

Kylma Sota - 10 Tracks 2010 - Finnish HC - the truly buzzsaw guitars are up my alley - love the echo on the vocals - this album floors me...EVERY TIME - by far my favorite from them and a strong list consideration for "best of decade 2000-2010".
Kieltolaki - Massahypnoosi 2009 - Finnish HC - this band is pretty great - took me a few listens to warm up to this album compared to the 7"s - the recording isn't as thin and raw as some; love the bass and dynamics - that bass gives it a chaotic feel as if it is falling over itself, but not in an inept way - each time I play it, I like it that much more, and I already am a big fan.
VA - Nagoya City HC - Prank - Clown tracks are very good (2nd track has some nice writing, and 3rd track speedy, catchy smoker), but I think I like the album tracks more - Zilemma made me curious about their LP and EP - D-Clone tracks weren't consistent, but they have some beautifully frying and engaging moments.
Clown - Livestock World 2007 - Japanese HC - BURLY, fierce, husky, smartly written - another strong list consideration for "best of decade 2000-2010" - as off-putting as the name, title, and maybe the artwork (but the artwork is glorious Sugi) can be for some, this is tip-top shelf Japanese HC with its own feel

I checked that Italian HC trailer last week.  Looking forward to it.  As information becomes available, I'd truly appreciate you posting it here.  I only run into that stuff [mostly] by mistake.

I forgot how thunderously powerful the first Skitsystem 7" and LP are.  Though the EPis one of my all-time favorite 7"s, I don't listen to it much anymore; probably been 2-3 years since the last time.  Not very punk to spend that kind of money in that kind of studio, but the results speak for themselves (not something of issue to me, but I've seen it mentioned in the past).  If I was making a list of heavy music since Black Sabbath, they'd both likely be on it.

I realized last night how The New Lows strike the same space as the Breakdown '87 demo, which I believe to be one of the best demos of that rich late-80's period.  I was fiending hard enough for more Breakdown that I finally listened to Blacklisted.  Honestly, I didn't even know it existed.  It has some weak points, like the vocals sounding too much like Sick of It All, but it is surprisingly good; maybe even great.  The riffs, and some of the drumming, remind me of vintage Leeway, and Born to Expire is a crossover classic.

Sure.
There are several interesting books on Italo-hc at the moment and some guys are currently gathering infos and material about my hometown, Como, a very small scene that gave a few cult projects. I am quite thrilled.

Loved Breakdown, bass lines were fantastic. Same guys behind my fave metal core band of those years, Killing Time.

I put on Negazione ‎– Tutti Pazzi  7" while making this post for nostalgia purposes. Classic.

I broke the battery on my ipod mp3 player so I had to go back to my old high school one which only works if I plug it into the wall:

Brainbombs - Fucking Mess
Brainbombs - Urge To Kill
Atrocious Madness - Demo, Total Control 12" (not an 80's band, defunct Portland politically oriented Noise Punk like confuse, G.A.I., ext. highly recommend all works by this band.)
Various ‎– Downtown Street Punker Anarchy Centre CD (1995 re-issue of 80's tape)
Various - I Thrash Therfore I Am LP (Anti-Cimex,Mob-47, Enola Gay, Ect)
SOB - Thrash Night 7" & Split Flexi w/ Napalm Death
YDI- A Place In The Sun 7" & Demo Tape (Highly Recommend if you have not heard this 80's American punk band)
Capitalist Casualties - 1988 Demo Tape, The Art Of Ballistics 7" (Slap A Ham), Disassembly Line LP (Slap A Ham) Incredible first period of this California group shows great tension in their DRI inspired music, their lyrics point to very specific instances of injustice and turmoil, not some general heuristic complaining like some other bands of this transitional period.
Tar Babies - Face The Music 7" very obscure and groovy 80's hardcore from the usa
Adrenaline O.D. - Let's Barbeque 7" EP  I dont even know why I like this but after 5 listens it rises above most other bands of this style...their lighthearted humor turns to black comedy for me.
Napalm Death - Live 7" (Guts Records 1989) Bootleg live set from the masters, when they were still kids and sounded a lot like heresy and ripcord
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25A10fUetaU
Siege - Drop Dead (Recorded 2/6/84 & 10/26/84 at Radiobeat, Boston, Mass.) Lp on Deep Six & CD on Deranged
Agnostic Front United Blood
Iron Cross - Crucified For Your Sins Discography
Corrosion Of Conformity - Eye For An Eye LP Incredible record right here which will never get old.
Attitude Adjustment - No More Mr. Nice Guy LP this is the best attitude adjustment recording and will blow you away the singer of my old band's uncle Tom Mallon recorded this record and a fuck ton of others:
http://www.discogs.com/artist/Tom+Mallon
Sorto - 1984-1986 7"EP from Tornio Finland been listening to this a lot lately...
United Mutation - Fugitive Family 7"

You already know about Apt.213, and while the first 7" is still their best, I recommend their discography CD and everything they've done after it.  I probably like them more now than I did when they formed.

Apartment 213 & more importantly Lockweld are a huge influence on the development of my noise music.

Disclose

Kawakami did an excellent noise project called Black Goat aka Goatworshipper. Im sure many already know about it so I can add that It sounds sonically better than most other "harsh" noise I have listened to.

That Italian HC doc looks excellent.

I was very easy to please.  The only records of that time and place that I could not get into were Killing Time - Brightside and Judge - Bringin' It Down.  I thought that was maybe a consequence to the lifeless Brightside recording, and when a respected tape trader encouraged me to give them another chance and sent this video as evidence, I thought I'd change my mind.  I love that it is on youtube now.  But I found the live show just as sterile.  I think I'm going to give it another chance, though.  I'm really in the mood.
