I'm probably the only fin here who admits liking to: KLAMYDIA
My absolute favourite band in primary school.
Older stuff like Älpee is still great to me and some of their newer rock stuff is not that far from OI/RAC etc

Has there been a truly exceptional crossover album since ABC Diabolo - Last Intoxication of the Senses?  There really weren't that many before it, even in the heyday of the second half of the 80s.  There was that whole Bandana Thrash thing for a while, but it wasn't crossover.  I'm sure there has been, but I can't think of anything right now.  Some Capitalist Casualties could fit into it on the outer edges.

ABC Diabolo - Last Intoxication of the Senses
Agnostic Front - Cause for Alarm
Bad Brains - Quickness
Beowulf - s/t
Carnivore - Retaliation
Corrosion of Conformity - Animosity (Technocracy was decent as well; Eye for an Eye + 6 Songs is really good; Animosity is their pinnacle IMO)
Cro-Mags - Best Wishes (a good argument could be made for Age of Quarrel being crossover as well)
Crumbsuckers - Life of Dreams
Cryptic Slaughter - Convicted
Cryptic Slaughter - Money Talks
DxRxIx - Crossover
DRxKnow - Wreckage in Flesh
Excel - The Joke's on You (some like Split Image better, but not I)
Hirax - Hate, Fear, and Power
Leeway - Born to Expire
Lethal Aggression - demo (included on that Relapse Underground CD series; the LP and 7" were decent, but the demo smokes)
Ludichrist - Immaculate Deception
No Mercy - Widespread Bloodshed
Nuclear Assault - Game Over
Phantasm - 5-song demo (post-Hirax; found on the Wreckage 12"/CDEP)
Raw Power - Screams from the Gutter/After Your Brain
Suicidal Tendencies - s/t
The Accused - Maddest Stories Ever Told (a crossover classic).
The Accused - The Return of Martha Splatterhead
The Accused - More Fun than an Open Casket Funeral
Wehrmacht - Biermacht
Wehrmacht - demo
Wehrmacht - Shark Attack
"the overindulgent machines were their children"
I only buy vinyl, d00ds.

Leeway and The Accused is all one needs. I never got into Carnivore, I absolutely hated the first S/T album...those vocals ugh. I agree about New Crossover, not much at all that is good. I liked a few tracks off the first SSS LP and Cross Examination, although very "revival" sounding, had a few good tracks on their LP as well.

big fan of carnivore, probably my fave crossover band in those years. the picture on the back cover of retaliation is classic. peter was very funny in person.
accused were devastating... first three records are perfect...

on another dimension an excellent band we all used to love here in Italy were SNFU... the gig i saw was definitely wild.

Siviilimurha has not been mentioned yet. As the band deliveres some of the filthies mayhem ever from Finland, should at least the fans of early Tampere hardcore or first ep of Anti Cimex check it out

SNFU are on my top five of all time list. Consistently some of the best live shows I've ever seen. If you get a chance, watch the documentary "Open Your Mouth and Say Mr. Chi Pig". Unlike a lot of punk documentaries full of filler material and bad graphics which have been released in the past decade, this is 97 minutes of interviews. Depressing but good.

I just realised that no one mentioned Regan Youth WTF, maybe one of the best HC Punk band ever

Ain't gonna post no youtube link cuz the whole fucking (first) LP + the three unreleased tracks are pure gold. And I wouldn't know how to pick one from the rest

I've always been a big fan of SNFU, and I have always had a soft spot for shit like Satanic Surfers and BigWig. I get tons of shit for it but I don't care anymore. When I want some melody and cheesy lyrics it is perfect.

I guess I just suck.

Here is the SSS band I mentioned:

And if we are talking about Hardcore on a Noise forum we can't forget to mention Kickback!

I also really like early Raised Fist when they were more influenced by Gorilla Biscuits than the Metalcore shit they do now. Makes me want to move:

Any fans of the other Snuff, the Punk band from the UK? They have some really catchy shit:

I think Reprobate mentioned previously but Tragedy and His Hero is Gone are great. Also Iron Lung who started out as powerviolence, but now are more hardcore than pv. Very punishing stuff.

Iron Lung are awesome.
The Endless Blockade should also be mentioned here, they played Powerviolence with a heavy noise edge:

The follow-up project Column Of Heaven is also very good: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnK-lnC5vQM
