I know Wreckage in Flesh doesn't get a lot of respect, but I always thought it was one of the best crossover albums of the time and a far better album than This Island Earth.  I wish they could've done another album playing in that style.

Dr. Know with Kyle Toucher and the "Wreckage In Flesh" era lineup reunited recently.

Can't beat "II." This and The Void are so fucking intense.

Not forgotten in the grindcore scene: their Drop Dead album is considered probably the first proto-grind release.

only [so far] in this thread.  they're plenty alive and well.  Not so long ago, Deep Six did three different pressings of Drop Dead.  All had different bonus tracks.  Bleed your fans.  They're all out of print.  The last pressing might be only temporarily out of print, though.  Steady demand for this recording.  Relapse did a CD pressing years ago.  I believe a European label did an official one as well.  Revoltation 7" and Lost & Found CD boots.  They've always been well-remembered.

Saw these guys at a CBGBs matinee in 1986/87 and picked up there demo. Don't think they ever did more than that one. "I Fucked Your Daughter" at 4:13 is great, a narration to a dad about how how and where his daughter was fucked. This came out at the peak of the straight-edge movement and was decidedly not so.

Two more of my favorite CBGB Sunday Matinee bands:

Breakdown's demos follow the Cro-Mags Age of Quarrel demo as my favorite NYHC recordings of the mid-80s.

Even though III is a little lacking (I feel), how good is the track "Magic Fingers"?

Ramallah. Sure most people on here would prefer Blood for Blood though. I do, but some Ramallah tracks were alright.

I'll never forget seeing them at a house show (owner was a Courage Crew member and eventually was arrested for kidnapping) stepping out and throwing hard fists (as well as taking my own beating) during this track in a cramped basement. Track still kills. Wish I could say the same for their other tracks.
