Sial from Singapore have released a killer 12" and 7" on La Vida en Mus - comparisons to other bands are simple but it sounds like the singer of The Comes over a wild Italian hardcore band. Definitely a record I'm glad I tracked down.

Cold Meat from Australia released a banger 7" called "Pork Sword Forever" and I'm usually not into this garage-y style of punk (anymore) but this hits all points in a very satisfactory manner.

Picked up a 7" and demo 12" by Chain Cult from Greece, good gloomy post punk that almost veers into Misfits-esque horror punk.

this is an old band but new to me, PYHÄKOULU from good ol suomi, lots of "familiar" riffs as it were but changed up by minor barre chords and really nice female vocals, been playing this back to back all week https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeT7yTQ5a6k

Great band. The bootleg version of the Pyhäkoulu / Abortti 13 split 7" also has extra tracks from Kolmas Päivä (old and obscure sloppy hardcore) on it, which are soooo amazing. A discography LP of Kolmas Päivä just came out.

Decrepitude

Let's see if it lasts but I'm currently very much into Self Deconstruction from Japan. Maniacal "free-style grind-violence" which seems to have just enough of the free part to keep it in the brink of collapsing without having any kind of noisecore or Naked City type of sound. Not yet heard the new LP since I don't have the cash right now but I've been listening to this split alot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SuXTG_CUWEQ. The Capitalist Casualties cover rules.

Absolute classic band, and one of my introductions to international DIY Punk/HC.

This track remains my favourite. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ufxl1NoZIcc

There are so many great Japanese HC bands with just demos or only comp tracks.  You could spend a month or two filtering through just all the MCR and Discrete comps (youtube has a surprising number of them if you don't own them yourself); let alone all the other lesser known labels with great comps.  Highly recommended, and fun, listening project.  The 90's treasure chest is so deep.

DxRxIx - Dirty Rotten (LP) 1983 - wanted to listen to the EP version, but I only have the LP version - it's too bad they switched the order and added tracks in reissue - "Sad to Be" is such a steamroller way to open.
"the overindulgent machines were their children"
I only buy vinyl, d00ds.

Can anyone recommend fast Spanish hc punk like Orden Mundial, Nueva Fuerza and Destino Final?
