i enjoyed 'jack of jumps' both as a book on a rare, forgotten serial killer, and as reading.
if you like fiction, referring to real events, then recent books by kath unswerth may suit...most recent referring to a sex killer in soho in ww2 london, and before that, relating to jack the stripper.

QuoteWhen the officers arrived at 3845 Toolson Lane, they repeatedly knocked on the door and rang the doorbell, however, nothing could be heard over the sound a stereo inside the house repeatedly playing the same song, which was later identified as – Enya's 'Who Can Say'.

Knew there was something wrong with people who like Enya. Had to have been easy for them to "befriend" the homeless drifters when you look like that...

I wish I could look like that at whim. Would be great freaking out people I don't like.

Nice. Always liked that song but never looked into the story.

great old rhyme.
reminds me of 'mary bell' by monte cazazza, a modern take on this type of song, based on uk child murderer of same name, herself a child at the time, and documented in the book by gita sereni, ,

teens have all the fun

Younger than the boys that murdered the little boy that Sotos wrote about? Or was it just the victim was really young? I had a book or 2 about that case but not sure I still have them.

jamie bulger's killers were younger and bulger himself a mere toddler.
the double killers reference is to the two victims.
even so, think mary bell was younger, but could be wrong

i remember seeing something on tv about a college class getting in touch with him, post 9-11-2001, one of the questions they asked him was if he was aware of 'current events' and he said yes because he reads newspapers.

"Beyond Reasonable Doubt" profiles the hunt for Green River Killer Gary Ridgway.  Airs 9 p.m. Friday on HLN.

Trailer here:

Found a stream of this and gave it a go. A bit lackluster and the format isn't long enough to go too deep. Nothing special, some interesting footage of Ridgway though.

The stream is here for those interested: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5pbxyj
