ENDON is an experimental acoustic collective from Tokyo, first gathered in 2007 in order to bring a decisive rally on contem
porary extreme
music.In addition to a conventional band formation of vocal, guitars, and drums, there are two additional electr
onics performers, allowing them to create harsh, distinctive sounds in various chaotic mix of styles ranging from noise, hard co
re, black metal, industrial, to grind core, through an absolutely physical embodiment of pure hard core mentality.
Their staging can be characterized as a plethora of physical and acoustic momentum, with destructive performances involving
self-mutilation and bleeding, receiving high critical acclaims in the underground live scenes and are touted as one of the most
exciting acts.
Member AXONOX is the founder and creator of an effects pedal brand MASF, and not only does he make his own gears, he d
istributes the pedals to users such as Boris, Masonna, Justin Meldal-Johnson of Nine Inch Nails, and Nels Cline of Wilco, and
is also receiving high critical acclaims from many users.
ENDON organizes and curates their own showcase TOKYODIONYSOS and also co-produces an annual chaotic showcase JI
GOKUNO COMMUNICATION which hosts 50 different artists from the underground music scene. They have co-produced ma
ny showcases up to date with artists such as Incapacitants, Painjerk, SxOxB, Hair-Stylistics, and Maruosa, and has successfu
lly booked HIJOKAIDAN aka "king of noise" for the TOKYODIONYSOS 2011 this December 3, raising high anticipations for the
chaotic event.ENDON is scheduled to co-release their very first recording ACME APATHY AMOK from their self-run label G.G.
R.R. as well as from [...]dotsmark December 2011.
