Great night. Pogrom was the highlight of the night. Really powerful, hateful and most of all PAINFUL set.
Whoever said that you gotta suffer for your art, well Pogrom just did that.. Nasty shit.

I saw a video of him live where he was cutting his chest and possibly stubbing out a cigarette on his skin (I think this happened). Was it a similar thing?

Haha!

Fun evening, many unfamiliar faces, noisewise Haters worship by XXXX and CoT's moans-drowned-in-noise were most enjoyable, Pogrom's razor antiques certainly most memorable.

Good night.
With my usual cold and cynic approach, I think everybody could have done better (including me), but did fairly well making night enjoyable gathering! I hope still more is possible to do even after alarm incident.

Lapot was good warm up. Harsh noise speaker rumbling brutality, yet very little beyond normal routines.
Imprefections of live situation perhaps most absent in XXXX, where the ultra simple The Haters approach meets The Rita sound was possibly easiest to maintain for length it was.
SS offered more highlights than anyone, yet transitions and volume balances not always perfect, lowering the overall level a bit. I guess more amp power needed and brighter amps to get things like bass really rumbling!
Pogrom with angry good vocals, heavy cut delivered more atmosphere than the noise which seemed to have little less dimension than the latest F&V tape/CD, yet for live situation - vocals & noise - works.

My pics of all bands look just about the same as posted above, but perhaps this little different angle:

Great evening! XXXX should have needed a lot of more volume for such harsh noise wall show and Lapot had its still moment with really nothing happening. But the rest were just awesome. hopefully we'll see similar material from SS and Clinic of Torture also on record.

I wasn't familiar with Pogrom before but he delivered one of the greatests shows I've seen for a while, in any genre. Such powerful sound, such powerful vocals, such powerful performance. Simply beautiful.

Thanks for hospital and hospitality! It was nice seeing people, with whom we were communicating for years and finally have some beers and chat eye to eye.
Lapot - not everything as expected, but ok. performance with dedication to Finnish civil war, that started on the same date as the gig
XXXX - raw and primitive brutality. Nice good wall.
Sick Seed - excellent performance. Varied, interesting sounds and view, nothing chaotic - true band. It was slightly too long for me and some places seemed to be slightly too long, but overall - excellent
Clinic of Torture - my favourite of the evening. nice videos and excellent length, oppressive sounds and though tried to concentrate more towards my own performance, the sounds and videos were taking the attention almost all of the time
pogrom - not everything as expected too. things got slightly off hand, heh, some technical problems and so on. also i usually play for 8-12 minutes, but Finnish gig was perhaps the longest in the history.
cheers

POGROM

Is that the slash on his arm? I was looking at the forehead thinking he went all wrestler style. That fucker looks deeeeeep. I had one that deep on my chin once and had to give myself stitches with a sewing needle and fishing line (super glue helped too). That shit leaves bad scars.
