For anyone with the good sense to visit the better part of England (The North)...

Jumbo Records - Leeds
They have a decent section for experimental music on vinyl and CD. Not really in the same league as what second layer was but ok nonetheless and more importantly - still open.

Firenze, Italy - right in the middle of town, near Duomo:

Good selection of experimental/weird stuff and some noise among other things. It's one of the best looking record shops I ever visited, since it's located in an ex-pharmacy from the 1800s.

Cold Spring

Cold Spring has a private shop in Northamptonshire, which you can make an appointment to visit to 7 days a week.

We're just over 1 hour from Euston and 45mins from Birmingham.

10% off our normal webstore prices and we'll throw in a beer or two!

The selection they have is pretty poor for that sort of thing. Leedswise the newly opened Timebomb Records have a small but solid selection of avant-garde stuff, some of it fairly rare.

Electric Knife in London are excellent, less varied selection than Second Layer had, but if you're after noise you can't go wrong in there.

The only one I know, and only buy from there online, is Louie Louie. I think they're more into Indie Rock but they also have some Experimental... give it a try, not sure if you'll find something interesting but...

Oslo, Norway;
Shadowland; Shop for synth, neofolk, industrial, etc. Weird pricing sometimes, i found real gems cheap there and rubbish with steep pricetags. Very recommended!
Neseblod; Mostly for metal, i guess interested people know the shop. Now located at old "Helvete" place. Its possible to find some noise there too sometimes, especially CMI stuff and related nineties industrial. Also good for punk/hardcore.
Tiger; Mostly indie stuff but a selection of "mainstream" noise and local stuff. Harsh prices.
RocknRolls; HUGE secondhand shop, three storages of music. Possible to find obscure stuff for a good price (if the workers dont recognize it), but in most cases horribly overpriced stuff.
Platelageret: Now this is a great place! Secondhand store run by an old collector. Only open during weekends, but has tons of records. Bought first editions of Death in June, SPK, Swans etc..Mostly older stuff and very good prices.

By this time the Stein og jord shop has closed, but still keeps mailorder i think.

For Germany;
I remember visiting a huge place in Køln that had a very nice selection, anyone knows if this still exist? Will visit the area soon.

The Cell 14

Opening this coming month. Times will be slow in the beginning with little opportunity to expand the stock in the early stages due to life commitments. But here we are! We are here. We are open. With best efforts we should see a great stock of high quality works as the year progresses.

Everything details is below. Any contacts and enquirers are welcome.

Exiled Records in Portland, OR US has a pretty good selection of experimental and Industrial.

Crossroads Music in Portland as well is a used record store with several different vendors and the seller Thom has the best selection of old industrial, goth, punk, and metal in town. I'm amazed at what I find in his section sometimes.

ConcreteMascara

any recommendations on record stores, for noise or otherwise, in Amsterdam and Rotterdam? Going in two weeks for a work conference.

Amoeba Hollywood has been surprisingly good for used noise tapes and CDs recently, all at decent prices.

Mount Analog is alright. Looks cool, but I remember it being rather overpriced.

Vacation Vinyl is midway price-wise and selection-wise, well worth a visit if you're in the area.
