A Higher Form of Violence by Varulv

A track that did not really fit into any planned release, but that I nevertheless felt was good enough to share for those interested, as a digital single in lossless audio quality for a very low price - JF

I put up a new track of tape collage HN

I recommend starting with the volume below 50% and then turning it up to desired level

A few year old recordings resurrected. Radiant Musick. Headphone listening strongly recommended.

Not sure where else to ask this.  Move as appropriate and necessary.

Can anyone talk to the Harsh Noise Movement web label?  Never hear talk about the releases or it, and it has quite a few heavy hitters on it.  I see that it advertises here in the other forum, but no responses that I see.

500 uploads on Bandcamp, no physical releases. I clicked on the splits with Mikawa and Solmania, files are priced more than a tape ! I am not surprised there is no talk.

I hear you, but if you're fiending for...say...more TMikawa...there's close to 45 minutes just on the Noise:Japan comp.  It's out there to be had is all I'm saying.  I can see why $9 for files seems exorbitant, but on the other hand, to play devil's advocate, you're [likely] getting the same audio quality as the master files and not some normal bias bulk shit blank high-speed dubbed blah blah blah.  It's not without virtue.

I've got a few of his CDrs, which he seems to have removed from the bandcamp site. Most of his releases are boring HNW but there are a few gems in there.

That's unfortunate.  Still going to have to listen to a bunch of the split artists.  Just find it odd that hours of material from top shelf artists go without any attention.  It is about the sound(s), correct?

the last thing I have from HNM is the "600" compilation, I think he stopped releasing stuff for a while but I see there is new stuff out now.

500 and 600 are both worth getting, big various artists compilations with hours worth of material and pay what you want. I see there is also a Japanoise comp
