Previous releases are still hot from pressing, yet new releases out now!
Both CD's are co-released, meaning there is limited stock available of
items. Vinyl is all traditional laquer cut master vinyl, not DMM. Editions
are half smaller than before, so I urge to react on announcement before
too late.
Note that vinyl releases may not be available too widely from distributors
due small editions!! First we focus on retail and see if possible to deal
copies to distributors.

*BIZARRE UPROAR "viha & kiima" CD (12.00,-) NEW
Since 1992. Bizarre Uproar remains one of the leading figures among
Finnish noise. Their 2011 album is unleashed as LP/CD by Freak Animal and
Filth & Violence. "Viha & Kiima" is culmination of the current style.
showing the side of band that been seen on live assaults during recent
years as well as on already classic "Musta Rotta" 7". 4 long tracks of
amplifier torment captured in rehearsal bunker. combining the best
elements of live-in-studio approach. Fierce and crude results. with very
natural flow of physical and concrete sound. Bizarre Uproar's style takes
a good dose of most violent elements of power electronics and drenches it
to loud rusty harsh noise. Freak Animal / Filth & Violence. CD with f&v cd
style soft clear poly-box with full color artwork by J.Siikala.

*GRUNT / TAINT "schoolyard bruises" CD (12.00,-) NEW
Highly anticipated re-issue of 2003 vinyl release. Bands presenting their
most aggressive and fierce elements of loud and noisy power electronics
fueled with rough noise. CD version includes long bonus track from 3"CDR
what was included with first 41 copies of LP. Antihumanism / Industrial
Recollections.

*BIZARRE UPROAR "viha & kiima" LP (17.00,-) NEW
Since 1992. Bizarre Uproar remains one of the leading figures among
Finnish noise. Their 2011 album is unleashed as LP/CD by Freak Animal and
Filth & Violence. "Viha & Kiima" is culmination of the current style.

rubber-stamped cardboard sleeve with pasted on full color art by J.

*CLOAMA "Municipality Of Marionettes" LP (17.00,-) NEW
Exceptional and innovative album from Finnish master Cloama! A-side offers
4 tracks filled with diversity in sound and approach. From noisy drones.
guitars. rhythm elements. aggressive vocals to grim distortions and cold
noises. Captured on reel-to-reel recording. providing organic and live
feel to songs. B-side includes monumental long piece live in Greece. which
in fact has energy and clarity often unheard even in studio works! Female
vocals. harshly driving synthesizer force. genius electronic manipulation.
LP shows many faces of Cloama. yet is there is absence of harsh noise and
traditional PE. This albums stands out even in diverse discography of
Cloama! Freak Animal Records LP 036

*HAL HUTCHINSON "corrupted scrap" LP (17.00,-) NEW
This new album consists of two live in studio scrap metal recordings that
utilise an approach called 'Factory of Metal Sound'. This new technique
allows for the recordist to assemble a sonic machine using unwanted
industrial products. Taking a form of sound recording that has always been
essentially 'free form' and 'open' . this approach replaces structure in
the existence of the objects being used. and therefore gives them back
their original purpose as factory made objects. Layering the sound of each
object (chains. nails. barrels.pipes.sheet metal.etc) a territory is
created that can be expanded upon and explored. These recordings represent
the progress that had to be made with regard to recording scrap metal
sound. They create an approach that is truly experimental in nature and not
simply mere imitation. These recordings aspire to something beyond that
which was inherited. Silkscreened b/w covers and insert. Freak Animal LP
037

*WILL OVER MATTER "Lust For Knowledge" cd (12.00,-)
Freak Animal Records is proud to present new album of Will Over Matter. Band continues its path to new dimensions. Utterly unique approach bordering genius and utterly insane. Making choices that nobody else dares. Will Over Matter's take on esoteric-industrial noise abandons the cliche's of dark ambient/reverb drenched ritual muzak etc. It doesn't sound "retro". yet approach has more in common to M.B. and Musiikkivyƶry for example. than contemporary noise. Listen to short sample featuring clip from 3 songs.

Great news on the new Cloama!

FreakAnimalFinland

yeah. Material of LP/CD is c. 44 minutes.
Band will do self financed tape version with raw uncut material as it was in studio-live session.
I consider the "album" form better, yet for completists, may want to hear the tape as well.

Any idea did vocals on the second track? I'm not the biggest fan of "Black Metal" rasp in Power Electronics but this one is very well suited and just adds an air of eerie ambiance instead of taking the whole track over.

I assume you are talking about BU LP/CD?
No guest vocals on that album.

Yea I just got the CD and have been listening non-stop.

I was referring to the second track with the Black Metal rasp vocals and screeches. I'm not the biggest fan of rasp BM vocals in Noise/PE but you did an exceptionally well job on this. Those vocals create a specifically vile atmosphere. The sample at the end of the album on the last track is also one of the greatest samples in terms of how it was used and it's placement on the album. This LP will get a full review at the Pure Stench very soon. The cover art is fantastic too, I assume it is Fallen Angel? Very sexy looking I like the sneaky white thigh highs peaking out of the unzipped jeans and the dead expression on her face. Perfect woman.

Quote from: FreakAnimalFinlandVinyl is all traditional laquer cut master vinyl, not DMM.

It was mentioned to me, some people were saying these are not real vinyl. It should be made clear it is not "lathe cut". Laquer cut refers only the original method of making masterplates, not pressing....... It is as real as LP can get. So anyone who hesitated to buy due thinking they'll get fragile lathes or whatever, it's real LP's.
BU is sold out. Cloama and Hal LP's some left.
