werent you more of a maclight guy?
guns are neat and the autoshotgun is art but what ive been doing hah hah is make bows. I dedicated this summer to that artform. I think its fascinating that you could make a hunting weight weapon out of a little piece of tree. powerful enough to kill a deer or whatevs. all you need is some knowhow,a knife and wood.

this stick is just over the official limit of hunting weight. limit is 18kg or 40 pounds and the stick is 19-20 kilos to pull back the string.

ARKHE

Sweet bow. What kind of string do you use? Cat intestine?

kettu

ive left my cats alone for the time being. its beeswaxed paracord guts. the threads inside the canvas like thing.
the stick is juniper.

The Saiga 12 (12 gauge shotgun based on the AK47) is a fun, legal semi-auto shoot for those not lucky enough to have machine permits in the U.S.

Been building custom AR-15's for the last few years.

FPS russia has great videos, been fan of them for awhile now. Great entertainment for friday nights along with beer!

God I want to fire a 40mm canon, fucking sexy as hell.

I only have a 3 more months and I can get all of my guns back, the only one I really care about is my Dad's Rock River Arms Entry Tactical M4, which is a civvie grade AR. I have been looking at Olympic arms AR-15's for awhile now thinking if I should get one or not. I really like the LE series (tactical "stubby")they make, like this one

Since becoming a felon and not having my guns for the last 5 years I've acquired 2 sights and a rail system which ended up being broke when I received it. I scored a nice little EOTech sight back in 2010 at a gun show in Texas for $449 which is about $150 cheaper than retail, and just last Christmas my friend gave me his AIMPOINT Micro T-1. I haven't had a chance to use them and I'm really excited for June to roll around so I can go out to the local watertower and take cans out.

That's what he had. I think I've fired 2 of those & both had issues.

I am going back to Texas in October, if you are close enough to where I'm going to be at you think you may wanna go shootin' this year Keith?

My Colt Series 70 MK IV Gold Cup National Match 1911 .45. There's a reason this gun hasn't changed design in 100 years and is more popular than it's ever been.

I wanted to see how classic suomi konepistooli shoots and found this.

looks smooth as shit compared to a russian sub from that time period. russian guy was shooting his dirty commie gun and it was jumping all over the place.

the old timey ones are cooler http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mosin%E2%80%93Nagant#Finland

on a personal note a bow I made slipped my hand and fell into the spokes of my bicycle and broke so egg on my face.

ConcreteMascara

Yeah, the Valmet! The nicest AK variant, I think. They were on the original 'assault weapons' ban so importation stopped & prices of pre-ban rifles went through the roof. I have seen a few in person at machine gun shoots & gun shows.

Okay I didn't know where to post this, but I'm always excited by the prospect of laser weapons. Hail the techno-dystopia we've been waiting for!

A laser weapons system that can shoot down two drones at a distance of over a mile has been demonstrated by Rheinmetall Defence.
