went to local (to parents)polish supermarket and found a lovely polish imperial porter.
8% alcohol with usual chocolate, blackberry, coffee, etc flavours.
£1.99 for a pint bottle is super value.
also got to mention the £10.99, vodka( old krupnik), 40% proof, so smooth... a bargain

back n local (oxford)pub.
gents toilets are fucked, so we are
directed to disabled.
drunk twat that i am, i head to female toilets.
i find they have carpet!
smells nice!
no chalk board inviting drunken feedback!

re:prior post photo.
it's not a proper pub without at least one derelict/pensioner/nutter,
the photo looks suspiciously tourist info like.

over 30°centigrade on flat and over 50° on veranda.
the pub, with aircon is the place to be.
usual drink is on tap, and is not too heavy for the weather.
is as refreshing as a lager in this weather.
more than 4 days or this weather and the uk panics.
pubs and ice cream sellers benefit.

dunno where you live, but recentpurchase was old krupnik, a polish vodka, smooth going down ending in a central heating glow.
also recommend old krupnik flavoured liqueurs esp honey and quince, both superb.

if you want cheap and rough, go for grants, available in uk local stores that sell cigarettes to minors.

Smirnoff

no.
go expebsive or go cheap.
this supermarket staple is nothing.

still plum, but today is plum mild, which at 3.8% is very light drinking though tasty for such a weak beer.

david lloyd jones

9%beer is strong.
been getting polish beer 'karpakie' at said percent in order to maximise bang for buck.
not always finishing what bought.
