Fanatics of Post-Mortem Industrial rejoice! Trash Ritual has dusted off the masters of 2 classic albums from the early 80s and has presented both on professional CD format with full color layouts. Both releases were originally issued on cassette tape format and after the initial pressing sold out these recordings remained discarded and ultimately forgotten until now. Without additional delay I am quite pleased to present for public consumption the following releases:

TRASH049 : XX Committee - Steel Negro Music CD
XX Committee was the project of Chris Scarpino on synth and guitar and Scott Foust (Idea Fire Company, Anschluss, Swill Music, etc) on guitar, bass and rhythms. Known mainly for their full length "Network" (discussed in depth in As Loud As Possible magazine), the material presented on "Steel Negro Music" consists of the first recordings by the project in 1982. Originally issued on A.R.P.H.  the majority of these recordings served as blueprints for the follow up full length where roughly half the material was later reworked, remixed and retitled to fit more of a minimalistic dead mix. This CD reissue contains the full tape in its complete unedited form along with bonus material consisting of an unreleased track as well as a compilation. Unlike the dead mix found on "Network", "Steel Negro Music" provides  a full hour of ritualistic loops consisting of pounding industrial rhythms, distorted guitar squeals, ominous rumblings, and desolate atmospherics that play on the chaotic nature of the sound itself. Bonus track "Schwerpunkt" was found on an unreleased tape performed by the original 3 piece form of XX Committee in 1980. While quite different from the rest of the project's output one can hear similarities between this and the drone sessions (that are also documented on this release). Closing the reissue is "Slaughterhouse" which was originally released on the "Sex & Bestiality" tape compilation (1984) by Bain Total. Unfortunately the final product suffered from poor sound replicated in mono not true to the original stereo mix by the band. This material was also found on "Sounds Beyond The Grave" tape compilation (1985) released on Sachsenhausen Industriale (Blood ov thee Christ). The track presented here is from a master tape copy as it was originally intended in its full glory. Layout is presented with upmost respect to the original release along with additional linear notes provided by Scott Foust.

TRASH054 : DDV - A Sound Atlas Of Venereology CD
The 2nd installment of the Club Moral archive series (which "Mit Neuen Waffen" CD is still available)  is DDVs own personal interpretation of "A Colour Atlas Of Venereology" by Anthony Wisdom in the Wolfe Medical Atlases series, published in 1973. All tracks were performed on a Wasp and Korg MS50 synth, and recorded in Club Moral during the summer of 1982 on a plain stereo cassette deck with no additional remixing or mastering. On some tracks sound samples were used from the movie "Possession" (1981) by Andrezej Zulawski.  Lyrics were taken directly from the Colour Atlas along with "Haut Und Geschlechtskrankheiten IV", "Visites Cliniques", and "Revue de Dermatologie" recited by DDV in typical deranged, animal like fashion he is known for. Almost all material found here was never performed live nor featured on other Club Moral related recordings in any other form. Clearly DDVs most dangerous release due to the raw and offensive nature of material and sound presented. All material packaged with the original issue has been reprinted here in a full 16 page booklet to properly document this classic piece of industrial history. A true sound atlas in venereology proudly made available again.
