Interesting... Nice to see lesser known and good foreign Harsh Noise artists like MAAAA performing in Finland, great stuff.
EDIT: About what time does this gig start?

Seems interesting, yet I'm kind of annoyed by some of these summer gigs. I think there is assumption people don't work? I couldn't enter simply because show starts before normal working hours stop...  Next day the Hammer Open Air... was it starting 14:00 on Friday? Damn.

However, people been saying MAAAA is good one. Keränen and B.S. should be good, two others I have not heard.

For ordinary 8-16 working people this is rather perfect timing for a weekdays. Even with lots of bands and some usual delay, show is over before too late. I am much more annoyed by gigs that do not start until 10 pm and have three or four bands in lineup.

That said, there is hardly need for more than two or three bands on a weekday gig.

It seems that quite a many Helsinkin noise/etc. gigs are free - this, gigs at Kaapelitehdas... How are the artists being paid?

Keränen was good. Nothing exceptional but well done harsh noise. Considering the show was fairy short, it did contain lots of variation.

Maaaa looked quite shy and worked quite shy. They did have some good sounds here and there but as whole things didn't work. It sounded like they had some problems with pedals: contact mics did sound loud and at times good but hardly anything was audiable from the pedals.

Others I did not see.

Yeah Keränen was blast! But we had some troubles with one amp and everything was too shy, you are right. Anyway the place, weather and people were amazing. A lot of people have come there, nice surprise.

Excellent location indeed, would be most perfect surroundings for metal bashing (provided that the weather conditions are suitable). My set was not quite the most focused as pretty much just rushed forward after a quick line check. Pardon for frying the amp, waiting for the bill...
