Got it. Looks really nice and for once I know only 80% of the stuff reviewed/interviewed which means more money to spend and lot to learn.

#5
my favourite sentence, obviously a slighty nasty one is: unusually weak vocal performance....

but the review which that is taken from is pretty good. clearly trying to properly analyze the item at hand. I was a bit surprised how much thought went in to it( I cant know for sure but im speculating)

good shit, keep pumping it out.

edit:morning grammar.

Read it a few time now, fantastic issue. I especially liked the interview with Siikala. Very fascinating one, and overall this issue took improvement to the first one, which was great too. Having more people from visual arts interviewed is more than welcome. Gives a nice perspective to it. I am anxiously waiting for the 3rd issue.

Max

it's a great issue. i hope you'd lose the list of contents from the cover, though. it gets in the way of cover art.

GEWALTMONOPOL

I didn't find this issue as interesting as the first one as there weren't enough artists who interest me.

Moving on form that. Why not expand the top ten influential album feature with sections for books and films as well? I'd be interested in reading that.
Först när du blottar strupen ska du få nåd, ditt as...

FreakAnimalFinland

I think it was kind of fundamental part in old days to have top books and films in industrial band interviews. But with limited space there is available for each issue, I think this idea can't be yet done.
#1 was quote a lot leaning towards pe/industrial side, yet #2 perhaps has more of the balance & wideness what is the aim.

Sikala means "pigsty" :)
Siikala is the artist. Gotta love the latest Strom.ec cover art!

FreakAnimalFinland

I think that strom.ec cover is pretty old painting? Recall seeing in many years ago in exhibition.
I have teamed up with mr. Siikala for several releases on my other label. He has painted Diaboli LP's, Inferi LP, some of Baptism LP's, Crushing The Holy Trinity set, Exordium LP, and so on...  I think it would be about time that noise/pe albums would also feature some exclusive paintings created for them.. not just collages or phostop lay-outs.

I agree with this. Since the cover is the only place where the artist is represented in full colour, it would be nice to give the art priority over the list of contents.
