Interesting that you are able to host these via Bandcamp, I've never seen a podcast / mix / selection made available this way. Do Bandcamp not mind (know?) that you are essentially just uploading other peoples music to sell / stream?

I ask not to be awkward but knowing how picky the likes of soundcloud and YouTube are about tagging tracks to ensure that the artists get any royalties.

Interesting development if its legitimate and allowed, might see other podcasts hosted this way...

Highly enjoyable. Straight to the point with relevant insight. Thanks Mikko.

I don't think content ID cares about noise music.

It is not for sale per se. This was being talked for SI episode 6, but as it will take couple weeks to appear online, the "explanation" is late. Should have been in this episode. Anyways, all podcasts have been changed to free. I think someone accidentally bought the 25 euro (sick...) priced part 1, that was there just as method of friend paying that certain BC limitations go away. Normally for start one can only upload less than 30 min tracks, before enough funds were cumulated to allow 60 mins. Free downloads are default now.

It is possible this is not the final podcast about Japanese obscurities, but for bunch of next ones, there will be other things. Working on couple that may become pretty interesting.

Next one will be actually exact opposite what was mentioned in latest episode. More talk, less noise type of thing. Actually amount of noise is the same - or even more, but it is nearly 2 hours episode (splitted into two tracks) about Taint & Mania. To just play the songs, wouldn't really do justice for his work, so various stories and anekdotes made episode unusually long.

More talk this time. About 2 hours in duration, including rarities and also at this moment unreleased MANIA material!

This is ace. I've wanted a noise podcast mixing talk/history and full tracks (or substantial excerpts) for a while

My favorite episode so far. Thoroughly enjoyed the stories of the live shows and your exchanges with one another.

I got this via PM, but might as well reply on public part of forum if it interests other people too.

Thank you for the exceptional podcast episodes on noise from Japan.

I would greatly appreciate any info you'd be willing to give or tell about the following:
-Taichi, how many tapes did 'release', or how many do you know about? any info about Blind would be appreciated.
-Love and Sincerity, I couldn't hear when you said the title of the tape, what is it? Any info on it would be appreciated (line up, year, length, tracks etc)? Did they do any other tapes?
-Colloid, wow I wasn't aware of this promo-tape, was the lineup Orihara, Nagamori and Yokota? Does the tape have a title? length?
-Peeping Tom, you mentioned that it was the first tape, how many did they do? what's the title of the tape? Is it on Freckle? Any more info about it and them would be greatly appreciated. Did they release other tapes on Freckle or was it all outside of that label? Discogs info has me confused about Sewage and Freckle. I thought Sewage and owner of Freckle was Kazuki Masaki, but discogs credit Sewage to Hiroshi Kazuki. Is it the same person? Or brothers? I know thread on SI mentions "P-Tom brothers", is P-Tom two guys that are brothers? I think Freckle did 19-20 releases? I don't know what #1, 4, 10, 14 & 15 was. Did the tape you play come out as Freckle 01? I know #02 Sewage/Robochanman and #03 The Day Comes Laughing You came out as tapes first and then CDR.

Taichi, I could only located now "Blind" and "Sister album" tapes. I should have some more, but collection is quite a mess..  Taichi can be still contacted somehow from here:
https://cemment.wordpress.com
He updates his metal band website still today using "taichicemment" name. IF someone could convince him to dig up his old master tapes and put out some re-issues, I'm sure they could be worth it!

Love and Sincerity, tape on vanilla records:
https://www.discogs.com/愛と誠-2911991-Live-In-Woody/release/1463874
Track on Come Again II compilation is basically remix of this material. Taking clips from various songs and putting it together. You can easily hear the fragments of that "Holy Screaming" song originates from this song. Just as some other Come Again II songs are clips from Vanilla Records tapes - like Solmania for example. Just insanely the editor had ear to pick up the greatest 2 minutes of Solmania tape into Come Again II. You will recognize it instantly when it appears in middle of side on that tape.

Colloid promo 1994 was Natural Apathy Organization, nact-006. I don't remember if it has line-up info, but as I got it back then from Kei Yokota, I would think he was in that line-up. It does have cover and all, just couldn't see the tape in shelves right now.
I also have some Colloid live material, that I do not know if it was ever actually released? Just something that Yokota sent me when project was active. It is possible I may do more "obscure Japanese stuff" episodes, since there are really some goodies like this. I came across advance promo tape sent by guy of Building of Gel, that had BOG / Mo-Te collaboration song. I never heard such releases would have been made, but tracks is really solid harshness. Also projects like MDM, Cry Havoc, and countless more have not been played...

Peeping tom, I have tapes called "volume 1" and "Dozens champion". Both are short, c-10 tapes! If someone could get in touch with the guy(s) for reissue, I suppose c-30 would be enough. There is at least one compilation track on Self Abuse side label: V/A "Solipsism 44" CDR.
Indeed, discogs info is slightly strange. As far as I understood, guy(s) involved with Freckle was... brothers? One doing Sewage, both in Peeping Tom? As Peeping Tom members are credited to be "Peeping H" (Hiroshi Kazuki?) and "Peeping K " (Kazuki Masaki?)... no facts, just assumption. Maybe someone like SODDY would know better as he did some worth on Freckle..?

Peeping Tom tapes do not have catalogue numbers or mention Freckle, but they do list same address on cover that was Freckle address.

Just got through part one, after finishing part two earlier in the week (I'm weird like that). I have to admit, it's all rather touching- or should I say, rather molesting. Aside from the carefully selected audio, which could be re-labelled Obscure K Brewer Noise, the stories and commentary together amount to I think a very fitting tribute to the memory of a dearly departed perv.

Here's me hoping for Part 3, Revenge Of The Pervs.
Someone weaker than you should beat you and brag
And take you for a drag

Thanks a lot for doing this! Hadn't the time and chance to listen to any of these until today. Started with the Keith Brewer/Taint/Mania one.
Next is "80's industrial noise / power electronics / postmortem obscurities"

I think it's great, that it's also possible to "purchase" those episodes. Because then I have the possibility to listen on my stereo and not on computer or phone. And I'm also glad if I can support with few bucks, looking forward to listen future episodes.

I have yet to find time to make more episodes, but there are few things under work. One has to get few permissions from the artists just to make sure...

25.11. - one year of Keith B. passing away. If you didn't listen episode above, there are still unreleased and rare bits in it, and man worth to salute!
